I just dropped 30 on the Warriors on Superstar in MyCareer in a showdown between the best team in the 2 conferences. I am an 80 Overall 6"10 SF/PF. We got blown out the gym 100-124 though and I had 6 turnovers but it felt realistic. Every screen roll I was involved with was a switch and I took advantage(Curry saw many dropsteps). Getting into scoring position on the court was hell though.

The VC grind this year is unbearable. There is little to no fun to be had without spending money on VC.

The progress is waaaay toooo sloooow . They took out double VC for key games, they took out the Hall Of Fame multipliers, they took out VC rewards for milestones/Hall of Fame progress, while making everything more expensive compared to 2k17.

I signed a new 600VC/game contract in free agency. I still get 500VC per game, sometimes even below 500! That is somewhere in the 8-10k VC range missing every season. Not even adding the VC that magically goes missing after some games.

The endorsements are a total joke. I can't even pay for a single pair of Jordans with the VC I get for playing 10 games in Jordans.


I don't think I have the time or patience to grind out a single player for Pro-Am/Park this year. Let alone trying another archetype.. lol
Last year I actually enjoyed the grind without spending VC - at least for one archetype and then went to MyLeague with PlayerLock to play other positions.
I will just skip MyCareer this year, it is not worth the time without buying VC - which is a shame because I actually love the dual archetype system and I was looking forward to playing Pro-Am with it.


Also for someone that loved this mode before it became a VC cash cow/grindfest, WTF is this "story" this year? There is literally zero substance. There is nothing. It is like a downgraded orange juice thing that was written by a 14 year old intern. There is no continuity(ATM anyone?), no drama, no meaningful developments - every single scene feels like filler. Literally a Waste Of Time. It feels like they are just there to make the progression even slower.
And of course, they are unskippable again.
30 seconds of walking through the locker room waiting for my player to sit on the chair just so I can spam the A button to make him stand up again...

I am done, this turned into a rant but this mode was the reason I bought the game the past couple of years. I can't even state how disappointed I am.

This. Exaclty this. The story is no fun. The cutscenes are only annoying... I also actually liked it beter when we just got a mentor who was allready on the team (I got Frye when playing for Magic) like in 2k15. Why do we need an extra (not real) player taking up the spot of someone else, like justice or shammy this year?

On top of that I can not believe I got the PG starter spot being rated somewhere above 60, scoring an average of only 4 points a game (& 7 assists) in 25 minutes.
I have played 28 games on pro, going 6-22... no fun at all. My field goal percentage is around 20 on some games (with almost nothing but good releases) and the rest of my (lakers) team is similar. The only one that can score is Brook Lopez but he has been injured for the 2 time in 28 games. This is the second time he’s out for 4-6 weeks. My other C (zubac) is injured aswell.

It’s embarrassing that nothing happens to them for this. They essentially steal vc from you through game errors. Sad a solid basketball game has turned into this.

At the moment in this mode i'm only playing Pro AM indivudal matches. They last longer than playground and they pay more.

As I walked in I heard "DJ I can get you in MJs golf tournament" I was looking for PG in the apartment 😀 then realized it was coming from the fish..

I forgot...playing only indivual pro am, i received after some matches the payment from Jordan shoes plus 1000 vc Jordan bonus
I don't know why, maybe because it was the first payment?

My Career Offline PROBLEM

I started play-offs and now my team is stuck in progression to next round, i simulated one or 2 games, and now i am waiting opponent for second round and i can not move trough next game, there is NO option to simulate or play next game...f***ing 2k glitched shait -_-

Just got my first triple double with my Shot Creator/Sharp

29/10/10

Came close one time before but I couldn't get enough assists. Anyway after starting the season at the bottom of the conference my Knicks are now 22-19 and on a 10 game win streak. We're only about 5.5 games back of the 1st seed so I see no reason why we can't catch up.

As far as badges I finally maxed out Catch and Shoot and Corner Specialist to Silver. I'm gonna work on getting Limitless Range and Deep Range Deadeye to Silver now. Then I'll focus on getting my Tireless Scorer to Gold and Difficult Shots to HoF. Then Mid Range Deadeye to Gold. Everything else will come in game or after I'm done with these main badges.

Anyone else had a playoffs full of upsets? In my first season East 1 seed Washington goes out first round, and my Bulls knock out 2nd & 3rd seeds Cavs and Raptors. On West, 2nd & 3rd are GS and Oklahoma and both out first round. 1st seed Rockets loses conference final to Jazz. My Bulls vs Jazz in Final. Pretty dumb.

for me its always shot creating primary. My PG is a playmaking shot creator and my SF is a slashing shot creator.

75 rated God. Definitely great for upping your assists total when he on the floor.

HATE seeing him matched up with me during practice though.
