It didn't really seem to work for me. I took Klays role on GSW, they kept KD which is a rarity in 2k career mode, but that's it. I guess it's a bit faulty for the reason that we're also free agents at the end of season 1 which probably messes with everything. Maybe it will be better after season 2

I am on the Spurs and was hoping the GM would do whatever it took to get Kawhi and I a third star to better battle GS in the playoffs. I selected Lebron, Klay and Jokic as preferred targets and as soon as the season ended I quickly went into the minutes screen to find...yes, our GM had performed some kind of miracle, he had gotten all three. We are over the cap by about 54M and this is with Lebron taking a completely unrealistic contract of 4 year 24M dollar deal.

Unfortunately I think I've ruined MyCareer mode now, playing with this team with basically 5 All-NBA starters is going to get old fast. I doubt I'll want to leave either, thinking of facing Golden State was daunting enough now I'll have to think of a way to beat an even better team.

I had no way of thinking acquiring all three was even in the realm of possibility, I wasn't expecting even one to be honest, hoping yes, but expecting no. I was dumbfounded when I saw all three.

This was the end of season 2.

Is it just me or will everyone miss basically every shot if you pass it to them? I’ll pass it to someone wide open in the corner. He misses it every time. If someone else passes it. He can’t miss (especially if I’m under the basket) and Zach Levine missed a wide open alley opp.

Is it just me or will everyone miss basically every shot if you pass it to them? I’ll pass it to someone wide open in the corner. He misses it every time. If someone else passes it. He can’t miss (especially if I’m under the basket) and Zach Levine missed a wide open alley opp.

I started new career recently, assists are easiest to get. I'm not even trying to shoot usually...

AI plays pretty well in my games. ACE on plus call plays on auto really helps. I also have all visuals on and I follow my "routes" almost all the time, call for passes when it makes sense...

1) Does difficulty level affect VC per game? The VC I'm getting from stats seems REALLY low. Like I'm getting 500 from salary and 200 from stats, despite putting up a 50 point triple double on HOF.

2) What do achieving accolades do? In previous versions it boosted your fans and your VC earnings, but it seems to do nothing here.

It seems like my performance just doesn't seem to have much effect on my VC total. If I just set screens the whole game my total for 12 minute quarters would only be about 100 less...

This year playing at a higher difficulty does not earn you extra VC. 2K has removed the VC bonus you would get if you played at a higher difficulty. If you play at a HOF level it's simply because you want the challenge otherwise you wont get anything else from it.

So it sounds like my best bet for earning VC is to play rookie on 5 minute quarters?

I am not exactly sure of the exact best way to earn VC, however i play 12 minute quarters at Pro which makes easier to pad your stats which earn you VC. Playing mycareer games combined with the endorsements has been working for me its a slow grind but i get about 700 vc per game and if endorsement kicks in after the game i can get up to 1,000.

Yeah but what I was saying thats with no endorsements at all.

I'm actually starting to wonder if mycareer has a fixed difficulty level. I didn't really notice it get all that harder when I changed the difficulty despite my player basically being the same, my stats have gotten progressively better. I've had two 50 point triple doubles since I switched to HOF with a 76 rated player.

Seems like every year they miss until team chemistry is in the 80's.. at least on "my" teams

And then at that point it's impossible to not get 20 assists per game on 25 decent scoring passes.

Started over a PG Slasher/Defender on the Bulls, post Wade.

On Superstar...
Don't really find incentive to run plays other than PnR or Iso because open shots I set up for team mates gets too many bricks, while the computer hits everything.. ugh

Just out of curiousity, will there be a second shoe deal of which that will be coming? I have gotten Adidas and uA but rejected them both because I waiting for Nike and Jordan. Im in my first season about 40 games.

Also, jus to rant. Im in Miami Heat because I (sharpshooting playmaker) wanted to play along side Hassan whiteside. Our PnR is money. But damn they trade him for Mike Conley. I have got no length in the Paint. We got eaten alive by other teams in the paint. First in conference to 4th. FML.

Someone please help me.

I read above that you can choose players for the GM to after in free agency. Perhaps choose whiteside or another big.
