why is it when a game is close, neither team calls a time out, unless one of the teams goes down by ten. 3 quarters played and no team called one. substitutions are made through fouls and dead balls. when the fourth quarter starts or when i check back in, both team loses 3 timeouts even though they haven't used one previously. when a teams finally goes up by ten, the losing team calls a timeout leaving them with 3. they call another time out again with about 2 or 3 mins left in the game lose another 2 timeouts (the one called and an extra one) leaving only one timeout left and the winning team loses 2 timeouts as well

Just completed the Gatorade "quest" and got 1000vc bonus from it. I don't know if this was patched at some point, this one was just to play 5 Park games. Earlier I was supposed to win 5 games but that didn't work...

If I even had a Gatorade T-shirt...
Do you have to buy it? I guess just another glitch :-(

Yeah, it costs 240vc I think... Gatorade billboard and commercial should come after so I think it's worth it.

I've created a Michael Jordan clone, for those of you who would know, could you tell me if the following is accurate, any input would be appreciated:

*This is where I'm not sure if I was very accurate or if it's the games default setting for players is correct for MJ:

Official NBA 2k18 MyCareer Thread

If y’all can help it, never play for a team with Eric Gordon on it. Dude is straight trash. ISO extraordinaire with no finishing ability, pulls up from the top of the key or drives into a full paint and misses everything. For real, I’m like 15 games into my second year with the Rockets and this dude is shooting below 30% from the field and shares the ball with Rondo in our second unit. He never knows when somebody else is open and is a sure fire way to turn a 15 point lead to a tie game every single time. If he gets the ball with 14 seconds left on the clock, he’s not giving that **** up and he WILL miss the shot.

lol. Same thing with Wilson Chandler. Every time the ball winds up in his hands, he does something brutal.

Add Rudy Gay to that list. He thinks he is Kobe and has license to shoot any shot he wants, 90% of which are god-awful shots.

Is it true that you can sim your first season and the cutscenes basically are over? Want to make a new player but don’t wanna go through the cutscene BS

No. I simulated my whole first year except one game because I didn’t want to play for the Timberwolves.

The second year I am playing all the games and I have all the cutscenes. They even call me “rook” in some of them.

I finished the first season and went to the FA. I selected 3 teams, including Nuggets, but chosed to stay with the Utah Jazz.



And when I go to "my minutes" in the next season, I see Nuggets minute... but I still do play with Utah.





Someone here have this bug ?

Noticed this last night. I tested one of my builds to see what happens so I simmed my first season to see how FA would turn out and I noticed the minutes thing when signing with a new team too. I played the first 24 games and simmed to the end of the season. I signed with the cavs (formerly played for Chicago) and I was only playing 5 min, which is crazy bc I won MVP and rookie of the year. The bulls were only offering me 15 min a game which is crazy bc I was at 37 as a starter. I'm thinking maybe bc I simmed that bugs the story and causes that glitch. It may factor in that missing practices and not playing games causes u to drop in minutes bc of the simulation.

You could just choose which Jordan you would like to base him on in the game, like if you want to create him using the rookie Jordan then look at MJs attributes and sig moves in the roster, that's the best way to go.

I actually tried that, but couldn’t access his signature movelist.

My MJ is a shot creator / slasher

You have to use roster creator then edit roster. Select Michael Jordan from any of the bulls teams and then just go to signature and it's all there.

how come we can't change the opponents unis anymore? this makes it so we can't wear any white unis on the road unless we're playing the lakers...

You can still wear white on the road, it just changes the other teams jersey to their alternate.
