Is something going on with defense for anyone else? I’m 8 games out from the playoffs and all of the sudden my teammates are constantly giving up open threes. I just watched Jrue Holiday stand at the free throw line and stare at Damian Lilliard until he pulled up for the easy three.

Honestly, I feel like I’m playing with tall elementary school players. Can I go three possessions without needing to look at a replay in disbelief at the dumb stuff that just happened?

I just had the craziest game ever against the cavs. I was up 12 with 3 mins to go, and my PG had ended up playing SG for most of the game for some unknown reason, which left IT to put up 40pts. I was switched back to pg for the last few minutes, then for absolutely no reason whatsoever, the 2k17 center wandering out of the paint to double-team started happening on every possession. As soon as he crossed half court the big would leave their big wide open in the paint to come and double IT with me.

It didn't happen at any other point during the game, but just then, and then we'd get the ball, move up court, I'd make a pass, fumbled, turnover, back on defence, leave the big for a wide open dunk ad infinitum.

It was the craziest sequence I've seen in 2k this year. Just absolutely insane stuff was happening, that was not happening when the game was released and certainly not before patch 4 and the layup buffing update a week or so ago. Whatever 2 things combined in those 2 downloads have messed with the game in a bad way.

What’s up with the blown tear drops man. Almost no point in doing them. Hopefully gold is much better

Unless you're wide open, then floaters are a 20% shot at best. The purpose of a floater is to get a quick shot off when people are between you and the rim, but the floater animations take an eternity to play out, so always end up way too contested.

How do attribute boost work this year ? Do they even work in pro am ?

Not sure about pro-am but doubt they would work in there, although guaranteed you will lose them for any games played. They're supposed to be like previous years park cards, so they enhance a skill, rather than boost the attributes.

Why do I have to equip the same coloured leg accessories now, instead of black? It's good they've been added to the game, but black compression shorts are better looking than a lot of the team coloured versions.

Yeah is this known already? I noticed something similar on my SF where I literally got no progression points for a 42/8/7 game.

He did it the entire qtr, every time Dame had the ball.

Needless to say we lost by a lot.

The cpu's floats drop 100% tho. No exaggeration. Unless you some how block or foul them.

This probably answers my dilemma last night.. being down nearly 30 points and the Pacers hitting 12 3's to our 1 (yes, 1)

Imagine being subbed out at the end of the third with your team up 81-60 and being subbed back in with 6 minutes left in the game losing 81-83. That’s tuff.

Ok I grinded my PG to level 90 on the celtics and started to really enjoy the game. I got control of the playbook and completely revamped it with lots of 3 pt floppy plays for Irving, Hayward and S Wells (who is a great shooter with all those gold badges). Things are great the team is winning, teammates are draining open looks, we lead the league in 3 pt shooting and I am getting tons of assists watching my new offense work. BUT, when I log back in, 2K reset the playbook back to the original and my beautiful crafted offense was gone. I have to start all over resetting the plays. This sucks.

What you guys mentioned has happened to me not even half an hour ago while playing against Kyrie and the Celtics. My center would unexplicably start to double team him and would leave the opposite center WIDE OPEN in the paint and NOBODY even tried to get close to him. Other than that and the "classic" bull**** turnovers, it was a good game, but I hope those stupid double teams cease because it might be game breaking...

I'm at a 91, so I have control over the rotations now, but they reset after each game, which means I have to go through all the minutes and positions every single game. It's ridiculous to give us these options and not have them saved.
