Anybody having an issue where no matter what shoes you select you are stuck with the 2K shoes. I have a Jordan contract & all the shoes.

ya, for me, any shoe i now equip defaults to 2K shoe. Not just signature one

I skipped all of the prelude games by quitting out to speed things along, but now I am 4 games into the season and am buried on the end of the bench and yet to play a minute.

Do I just need to keep waiting and doing practices or did I screw up this character?

All the Footlocker sneakers are glitched for the game except the customs now. I got my Jordan shoe deal last night and before that I equip the on court version of the jumpman pro bc I bought them but they showed as 2k shoes. Luckily I got the Jordan shoe endorsement after the game so I went and bought all the custom Jordan's I've done and u can wear those in the game and in park and they won't glitch this time so just wear customs and u should be good. Sucks that the on court shoes (unless it custom) is glitched. these are my Jordan 2010 PEs from last night. I got this idea from Kith x puma disc COA pack they had a few years ago.

The patch made the glitch work Vice versa now lol.. instead of the regular shoes being wearable now they are glitched and customs are now wearable instead. So if u have a shoe deal or 10,000 VC to spend then u should be good bc yes, the customs can be worn for both park and the game and will not show up as 2k sneakers. It happened to me before I got the deal. Once I got the deal I equip the custom kicks for the game and they were not the 2k shoes so thank god both aren't messed up

The reason I don’t bother with customs because in past 2k games , they would show up as a completely different color online . Everything was fine from my perspective, but my teammates saw a different colorway shoes from me .

I never had this issue with the customs. Whatever ones I wore was what every one saw. I asked just to be sure bc I was hearing that it was happening to some people.

Jesus Christ. Facepalm. First the custom shoes are screwed up and can't be worn, now every shoe except the custom shoes are screwed up and can't be worn. I'm beginning to think everyone at 2K is straight up incompetent.

Keep waiting. It just took me 18 games to get to the starting lineup doing the same thing you did.

Thanks for this update. I already upgraded this character to 85 so I am glad I'm not screwed. This is my 4th time through the prelude and I was looking for shortcuts.

Did you do any practices in between blowing through your 18 games? Anything to speed this process up would be nice.

I can equip my signature shoes now that I have the patch, but I wish I could edit them. Is there a way to do that? Because I don't like them now that I see them on my player in an actual game.

I know what you're referring to for Pro Am. It was home or away that caused this glitch. Park was fine though.

I play NBA games at difficulty level of HOF but my % seems not to be the same as i would have playing a game offline against cpu. It seems to be easier. My player is 83, ok, but for example time windows to catch a green release seem to me wider comparing them when i play Pro AM o a rapid game offline against cpu (i have 66 and 60 from mid range and from 3PT, but i can score quite easily form perimeter). Are sliders of MyCareer setted in a different way?
Or maybe when in neighborhood i have to choose a different level, go back to main menu, reload MyCareer mode, chose again HOF level, go back again to main menu e reload again. In this thread i've read something about this bug. Maybe i think to be playing at HOF when really it's not.
How are your experiences?

Any advice on height/weight for a pure post center?

Seems that most big men max out everything no matter the build.

Just wondering if u execute post moves faster if you take of an inch and let's say 50lbs
