Anyone have any realistic trade scenarios for 76ers(okafor) trade? He's from Chicago...and looks like they gotta move either merotic or portis.... any ideas ?

I honestly think if you were willing to keep Mirotic and part with Portis the 76ers would be willing to add another small asset (2nd rounder or a prospect) to the deal. Portis has shown potential and it's unknown if Okafor will ever even crack a rotation with his play style.

Would Rubio plus Joe Johnson and some sort of a pick for Chris Paul make sense to you guys? I think Rubio would fit much better in high pace team such as Rockets and i would love to get CP3 to my Jazz team and i think he would be a great fit

Realistically, he ain’t moving. Fairly, no not enough. Chris Paul is a huuuge big name star. It’ll take more. Like Rubio+Favors or Mitchell+Thabo AND a 1st Round Pick.

I've been getting heavily into a few MyLeagues with eyes on realistic team-building, specifically with the Bucks and the Pelicans. I'd love to hear some ideas on realistic trades of Jabari Parker and Jrue Holiday.

Parker is fascinating because he's flashed the ability to be a great #2 scorer in the NBA, but he's had two ACL tears, doesn't play defense and is set for a huge pay raise before next season. If the Bucks re-sign him, they're basically fully committed to him being Giannis' top sidekick for the next 3 or 4 years. It's an extremely tough decision IRL, but I'd move him in the game for the right assets, namely a quality draft pick or picks, or a lengthy young wing player in the 3 and D mold that gives the potential for a positionless, switch all defense starting lineup of Brogdon/Middleton/New Player X/Giannis/Thon.

Jrue's talent doesn't match his contract, and if the Pelicans re-sign Boogie to a max, their cap situation is a nightmare going forward. Davis and Boogie are superstars, but Jrue is nowhere near that level. It would be those three and a bunch of bums for the forseeable future. Is he even tradeable IRL? If so, what kind of return could I get? The Pelicans are in dire need of shooting and quality wing players in general. I like Jrue's game, but his contract is such a burden that if there's a realistic way to move him, I'm all ears.

Any thoughts on moving Jabari from the Bucks or Jrue Holiday from the Pelicans?

With the new roster update today, I'm thinking of starting a new Lakers 'chise

I've never been a fan of brook Lopez (I prefer old-school centers(post game and/or rim protector) rather then a stretch big) with philly basically willing to give okafor away... i came up with a few scenarios....

76ers get:
Lopez

Lakers get:
Okafor
(Least valuable) 1st rd pick (top 5 protected)

Or....

76ers get:
Lopez

Lakers get:
Okafor
Reddick

I've always been a fan of J.J!
He could start at the 2, and Kcp could back up both wing positions.

Idk if philly would want another center, but it's only a 1 year deal, would provide (much needed) veteran leadership, not to mention.... would make for a great asset to soak up some minutes since embiid is on a strict "pitch count" or if he gets injured.

P.s. considered starting an expansion team (if I don't go with lakers) .... would philly even protect Okafor? And what about the suns?.... would they protect Bledsoe? I know he's a very good guard....but the way their front office killed the trade value, would they just let him walk?

So how does this sound.

I’m Chicago and need a Big that can rebound and defend and add some offence when Portis and Markkanen and Lopez are off the floor.

How does this work?

POR Send Ed Davis (season average 3.5 PPG, 5.6 RPG, 0.6 BPG, 15.2 MPG) Zach Collins was out for 6 games but is now back and C.J. McCollum is out for 4 weeks.

CHI Send F/G Quincy Pondexter (8.9 PPG, 3.2 RPG) I’m looking at it as He can play the 2 while McCollum is out and then be a 6th man.

I'm with the bulls in a 30 team myleague and I'm wanting to trade for okafor and Bledsoe but their asking price for both are ridicouls. What is something fair that i could give up to grab each of them. I'm open to 3 team trades

I've been working on trade scenarios for Okafor also... and with Mirotec and Portis playin "Mike Tyson's punch out " during practice (and Okafor being a Chicago kid)....i felt Chicago would be a good landing spot for him.

The best/fairest 2 trades I've seen mentioned are....

76ers get:
Mirotec and a 2nd

Bulls get:
Okafor

Or

76ers get:
Portis

Bulls get:
Okafor and a 2nd

As for Bledsoe, I'm not sure on that 1.

Guys, i already run a ML with the Bulls and my big two are Booker & LaVine!

i want to make another with the all time bulls that has MJ on it, so, replacing all All Time Bulls with todays bulls ( only want to use that team because it shows Jordan's Picture ) Who do you guy think is better off next to Jordan? LaVine or Booker? not taking both!
