Re: NBA 2K18 - Trade Discussion Thread
After year 1 the Grizzles got a lottery pick and then traded Gasol for the Nets pick and Thompson. They now have promising young players at 2 and 3. I am close to the deadline in year 2 and they are still awful and major injuries to Evans, Parsons and Thompson. Conley leads the NBA in scoring with like 28 a game. So was thinking about trading him while he is at his peak.
Conley
for
T.J Warren (82ish overall) and PG Duval (11th pick in the draft avg 11 a game). contract filler like Chandler
Should I throw in a future draft also ?
The suns landed the 1st overall pick and this would give them a starting 5 of Conley, Booker, Johnson, Porter Jr and Brook LopezLast edited by georgiafan; 12-05-2017, 02:59 PM.Retro Redemption - Starting over with a oldschool PowerBone Offense

Re: NBA 2K18 - Trade Discussion Thread
Two Deals for my Tanking Bulls for the future rebuild.
Deal 1: Chicago (6-26) Send Mirotic and Holiday
76ers (17-15) Send Jah Okafor, Jarryd Bayless, 2018 lottery Protected 1st
Covington is out for 6-8 weeks for the 76ers so they add Holiday to replace him (14.1 PPG for me) and Mirotic is a club option and helps them with the push for the playoffs.
Bulls get a pick and have a look at Jah to see how they go and take one the salary of Bayless.
Deal 2:
Bulls send Robin Lopez, Kay Felder
Bucks (18-12) Send Rashad Vaughn, Mathew Dellavedova (to CLE), 2018 Lottery Protected Pick (to CHI)
Cavaliers (26-6) Send Channing Frye, 2019 1st Rd Pick (to CHI)
Bulls get picks and a look at Vaughn
Bucks get a Centre with Thon Maker our for 4-6 Weeks.
Cavaliers get back Delly with Thomas still out 2-3 Months.
Thoughts?

Re: NBA 2K18 - Trade Discussion Thread
You should not get two 1sts and a former 17th pick for rolo and felder if you are not taking Dellavedovas contract. That is too much!
The Cavs giving up a 1st to get Delly back is also not plausible. Dellavedova has negative value and Frye is on an expiring deal.Comment

Re: NBA 2K18 - Trade Discussion Thread
Thanks for the feedback man, yeah I did think it was a little overkill. Maybe I will just look at taking back Delly, Vaughn and a lottto protected 1st

Re: NBA 2K18 - Trade Discussion Thread
I don’t like trade for the nets as they have way to many guards and need big men.
I know for me Lin went down 3 points for year 2 (75) so if that’s the norm it doesn’t make sense for the Cavs to give up the picks

Re: NBA 2K18 - Trade Discussion Thread
Correct me if I'm wrong, but with the Mavs in last place they could make some moves. One guy who they should move is in my opinion Wes Matthews: His age isn't fitting their timeline and he has a player option that is way above his value.
So what would it take to get him? Taking the Knicks as example, who are in 3rd in the east in MyLeague. Would O'Quinn and a 2nd round pick be enough or should they add a young guy to it?Comment

Re: NBA 2K18 - Trade Discussion Thread
Matthew has a big contact so I think what you said works as Quinn can be useful backup next year. You will likely have to add some salary though to make it work as Matthews is about 18 per year
