In that case I don't think the pistons would make that move as Malcom or a 2nd round pick doesn't really help them. If they are in the playoff race then maybe you could throw them a player like Deadmon or Marco if you still have him.

2 weeks from the 2019 deadline... and New Orleans still sucks. They finished 36-46 last year, and Cousins left in free agency. Now they're 18-28 (after a 4-game winning streak). The time to move AD and rebuild has come

            IMO

if your willing to do a complete rebuild and tank for a season or 2(collect draft picks and clear cap room).... trade with Memphis.

If you don't wanna do a full rebuild, trade with the Lakers... you would get 2 young stars with 1 being a potential franchise player(Ingram) and draft picks.

I felt you had another good scenario or 2....but I think those are the best 2 scenarios 👍

Does anyone have any ideas on a possible offseason trade good enough to get Kawhi to Milwaukee? I mean, anyone but Giannis would have to be available, im just not sure what would be feasible...

I think it would all 3 of Thon, Brogden and Middleton to make that happen and maybe even some 1st. If Kawhi is on the trade Block the Celtics will offer a package and they have more assets to give up then the Bucks do.

A little off topic but I really hope they add negative trade values to some players so that bad contracts actually hurt teams. Its too easy to trade horrible contracts to any team with cap space in exchange for a 2nd round pick

Exactly.. the way it is now it's just looked at as 0 to 1 star or around there, so they're basically looked at as the same value as a career scrub, which is far from reality.

Could use a second opinion on trading Kent Bazemore. I'm in the middle of the second season with Hawks (and a friend controling Nets) and after a bad start I plan to tank until the end of the season.

I have a pretty young team (Schroeder-Bazemore-Prince-Collins-Noel + Seth Curry as the sixth man) and Bazemore just doesn't fit given that he's 29. Also, it seems like he's not going to come back with his player option which means this is the last chance for me to get something in return.

Still I think he has a lot to offer and a team that has somethign to play for could be interested in trading for him. I went for this deal with the Suns who are curretnly in a plyoff spot and could use him as the sixth man or a pretty good role player.

Basically, they get Bazemore who could accpet his player option if decides to stay them next year, Bembry who has a team option for the next year, Dorsey's expiring deal and Cleveland's 2019 pick (Cavs's 2nd in the East right now).

In return I get Daniels's expiring deal (who might want to come back), Reed (1+2 team options), Dudleys 9mil contract for the rest of the season (didn't appear for them this season at all) plus their 2019 1st rounder (projected to go no. 20 and Bucks 2020 first rounder (Bucks 1st in the east right now).

Bazemore has negative value in my eyes. Not sure you are getting a 1st for him unless you take back some negative value as well. Suns don't have a lot of this other than Brandon Knight. This current trade is pretty lopsided in Hawks favor imo.

What about this instead. Still in favor of Hawks imo, but closer.

Hawks in: Knight, Reed, 2019 PHX pick (Lottery protected)

Suns in: Bazemore, Dorsey, 2nd rounder.

Bazemore will accept his player option as its like 18 million and nobody will pay him that. The only way the hawks get a 1st round pick back for him is if they take on a even longer contract for a more useless player like Asik from the Pelcans. Baz is at least good a good enough 3 & D guy to be in a rotation, but he doesn't have enough value where someone will give you a salary dump or a 1st round pick for nothing.

I like about to start my Hawks My GM. I’m thinking about trading Denis Schroeder Minnesota Pick 18 and Cavs pick Top ten 19 for Dennis Smith. I want the high flying action for DSJ and John Collins
