Re: NBA 2K18 - Trade Discussion Thread
For my expansion team I was thinking of Dejounte Murray, Ibaka and a 21 first rounder. We just started 2019 season

Re: NBA 2K18 - Trade Discussion Thread
Just remember that Kawhi has value close to that of PG13 and Butler when they got traded. Maybe
CHI IN: two first rounders from LAL and 2nd round picks, Deng, maybe Zubac
CHI Out: RoLo
LAL in: Kawhi
Out: Deng, Ingram, 3 first rounders, 3 2nd round picks, Zubac
SAS in: Ingram, RoLo, LAL first rounder and 1 2nd round pick
Out: Kawhi
RoLo fits in Spurs culture and he is an expiring. They also get future star Ingram and two picks. Solid haul for disgruntled superstar who would leave next year and who basically refused to play.
Lakers get rid of Deng but sacrifice all the picks and Zubac, but they get their superstar wing that they want.
Bulls get a 2nd rounder basically for Lopez and Zubac while taking on Deng and taking two firsts.Comment

The Hawks are another team that would take on Dengs contract if you give them back the assets like bk mentioned above.Retro Redemption - Starting over with a oldschool PowerBone Offense

Re: NBA 2K18 - Trade Discussion Thread
IMO, Hawks wanna get rid of Schroeder so you can do something like
hawks in: vučević, deng, lal 2 first rounders, lal 2nd rounder
hawks out: schroeder, distant 2nd rounder
magic in: schroeder
magic out: vučević
lal in: 2nd rounder
lal out: deng, 2 first rounders, 2nd rounderComment

Re: NBA 2K18 - Trade Discussion Thread
Mozgov was dumped for 2 seconds and Dwight Howard who will be bought out.
So Deng who can actually still play and just wasnt should go be able traded for seconds if Ingram is attachedComment

Re: NBA 2K18 - Trade Discussion Thread
Even though I think the nets clearly won the trade of Howard. They did have to take on Howard’s contract for 1 full year at a higher price tag then mozgov. So that’s a little different then say taking on a bad contract for a half year at the deadline.

Ingram, Lonzo or Kuzma ARE NOT going to be attached to Deng leaving. He is gonna be traded only with FRP or two.Comment

Re: NBA 2K18 - Trade Discussion Thread
Thunder- Melo and Steven Adams
Cavs- K Love and Tristan Thompson 19'2nd pick
I'm the Thunder and it's the trade deadline I really just wanna dump Melo contract and K love makes sense with Russ.
yay or nay?

Re: NBA 2K18 - Trade Discussion Thread
Have to agree, Melo going to Cleveland with no help is not going to be what he wants. He wouldn't waive the clause for that.
I would suggest shipping him somewhere in-conference, depending on the moves other teams have made (I'm working off what I remember):
A. The Clippers -- if they're still rolling with DeAndre and the various other guys, you could ship him there for salary+a pick; might get some decent players out of it, Gallinari can play a stretch four (albeit not with much defense) and would feast off Westbrook's drive and kick game.
B. The Nuggets -- in the vein of LeBron's "I'm Coming Home", Melo heads back to where it all began to help Denver get back into the playoffs. The team has youth and plenty of salary filler contracts -- you could trade Melo for a mix of Faried/Chandler/Arthur, plus a youngster they haven't played much or a pick -- Denver gets a legit 3/4 who fills a big hole on their roster and then gets major cap space in the summer (relief).
OKC will take on longer term salary, but has a deeper bench and could parlay those contracts into someone else if they so choose.
Those are the best two spots off the top of my head, and that's depending on what the teams and rosters of those teams look like.Comment
