Actually, I love this part of the game.

In previous 2K, never been able to get through someone even with a guy like Lebron... that's shameful.

This year you can feel how strong a player is... but doesn't work everytime either. Seems pretty balanced to me. Playing derozan never been so fun, you can iso properly in this game without being cheated.

Hope, they won't patch it !

I lowered the ball handler with ball (quickest players) to 50, which matches the lateral quickness setting.

or you could just raise the lateral quickness to 67, which is the max speed settings for players with the ball (quickest player).

but ISO shouldnt end in holding turbo and running into defenders to slip past them. EVERYONE online is taking advantage of this

There really is no need to have a C or PF on your team. As far as rebounding, that is all scripted and has nothing to do with rebounding attributes. Run strong SF at center and power forward and run 5 out. It's unstoppable.

I did not think it was bad until I played my team online. I'm normally a Pro Am player and this barreling into players to trigger a blow by animations isnt a problem there for me. But in a H2H mode, it really shows. I had a guy turbo down court every possession catch and turbo into the lane right past me and either kick to center for a dunk or rinse and repeat until ball handler gets a lane.

I put guys on gap on ball and moderate off ball, help and no rotations, etc. and he was still able to blow by me. Idk if its lag online, or whatever, but there was no way for me to cut him off. He would just pass>turbo>pass>turbo. The only thing I could do was play off ball and that would just end up in a dunk.


This is what happens when there are no counters such as bigger hits in stamina reduction for contact or charge calls outside of holding B.

What made it worse is when I would do just one dribble move and drive, he would get this "ride me like a backpack animation" that would force me wayyyy off course. Idk how he was able to trigger that, but eh its 2k

It's pretty crazy how bad this game is online. It's just constant turbo/pass/shoot. I don't even play defense. I leave people open for open/wide open, they're more likely to miss if I actually defend. Getting open looks within an offense is an absolute no-no in 2k.

Just run 5 out and space the floor and hit turbo and run into the defender and you'll go right past him. Wide open lane. I have been getting destroyed online against people who do this. There is no defending it. A lot of people have been doing it online, a lot of people are catching on that 5 out is even more OP than last year. If you play myteam, don't bother with centers. Run smaller players at PF and C. Scott OG falls asleep at the wheel for another year.

You can't blame Scott OG for that. When it comes to video games, some people are ALWAYS looking for things to exploit. There's realistically no way for developers to anticipate how cheaters and exploiters will approach a game until it's physically in their hands.

Almost three weeks later, and people are now discovering this? That's pretty good in my book. Besides, it might not even be exploit. It could be a case where the defensive-minded people haven't found a counter yet.

I only played 1-2 people who did it, but I still won the game.

Is MyTEAM H2H really on Pro? Thats insane....why would a mode where you have thay many high powered players be set on a lower level like that?

Speaking from a PNO perspective...there are definitely counters to the hip riding animation....in fact I haven't seen it a lot on in NBA-HOF league....its easy to steer into traffic or create traffic around it....they just go with the good ol zig zagging now, lol

I only played 1-2 people who did it, but I still won the game.

I believe he's in charge of defense/AI and both are awful. I just scored 38 with Lebron at point and P. George at Center. Just ran his PG over every play and if he brought the C over, kick to George for 3. Too easy. There is no counter.

That's so stupid, because you're playing the game in a manner that it wasn't intended to play in. Excuse Scott for not programming the defensive AI to handle a situation that has never happened in the NBA. Paul George has never played a SINGLE minute as a center. LeBron has NEVER started as a PG, not to be confused with that he's a playmaking SF.

Every year this game comes out and every year we pay 2k to be their game testers for basically the whole year.

12 patches last year and 4 already this year, less than a month in!

I've never played another TRIPLE A title that ships out to customers in such an unfinished, untested, and broken state.

All of these issues could and should be found and fixed before one game ships to paying customers!

If NBA 2k has game testers, every single one of them should be fired and replaced.
Anyone that has spent an hour playing this game could have found at least 10 issues that needed addressing before release.

It is astonishing to see so many people making excuses for 2K when the game clearly has way too many glitches to be acceptable. But when you think that people find it ok to spend so much more on VC to be able to only play it on line, well, maybe that is what they want: give 2K their money no matter what.
