Are you closing late? If it's lightly contested it usually means you're gapped too far off when he starts his shot. You wanna hug up on pure sharps as much as you can.

Mike, I wish I saved the footage. I had a Pure lights out me. First 2 were late contests. Second 2 I was in his t-shirt, splash. 5th I literally jumped with his shot. I even hit him in the air causing an animation, Splash.

3 of those 5 I was on him, RS contest. One in particular I jumped with him. I'm not exaggerating here. Does size matter? He was 6'8, I was 6'4. I have been telling myself he just shot over me due to height.

I do not want shooting really touched, but I know this isn't just me. Repeat: PLEASE DON'T CHANGE ANYTHING.

FWIW, online and offline modes can be tweaked separately already.

People don't know how many they make/miss.

They might make 40% but in their mind that 40% is 25%

Again, track your shots and post video evidence or your argument shouldn't be taken seriously

Height does matter a bit more this year compared to last when it comes to defending jump shots. That's one of the main advantages the stretch 4s have.

Since so many ppl are complaining about missing wide open 3s:

Its from reddit. Nba teams have 35-45% form wide open 3s, Steph has 46%.

Ok then. I will stop crying about the missed wide open 3's. when 2k admits that its not based on my controller input its set to Ratings.

if you say you shouldnt make these wide open 3's due to the fact stats show real guys dont make them all. if its based on real guys stats. that means i'm not controlling my jumper like they said i was per the controller settings. its ratings based.

i can agree with that. height matters a lot for defending or not being able to defend the 3 ball.

I know it's been stressed over and over and over again, but I have to say it one more time.

PLEASE do not change the core gameplay this year! It's darn near perfect right now. This is the best playing 2K that I have EVER played, and I've been playing since the very first one on Dreamcast.

You guys did a bang up job on the gameplay side of things this year, please let it play the way it is. Fix up the few bugs in My league and we're good to go!

Pretty much came in here to say the same thing. I told my brother the other day, this is definitely the best playing 2K I've played yet. I've also been playing since the OG 2K games on Dreamcast.

And I don't think they need to touch anything. Beluba, don't give in to anyone complaining because seriously, you guys freaking nailed it this year.

Is it possible next year for adding a setting where in like madden there is 3 play style settings.

Is it possible to add a mode where there is no green releases but only good releases only. So knowing your releases still matters, it's just not automatic.

Shot feedback and green releases is the problem that give u that delusion of "I have to make every open shot" .

plus its too small and release points are different for every player so filling the meter is practically useless.

2k took that out last year in 2k17. which made no sense to me. thought they would bring it back this year, but they didnt. but this years game is so good it doesnt bother me.

I get what your saying. but the game would get boring if you shot 100% from anywhere on the floor, once you mastered the release of said player. 2k should but probably wont give more detailed info into how the shooting accuracy actually works.

Im sure there is more than perfect release that goes into user timing. open-ness, maybe fatigue, plays into the shooting. how quickly you shoot. are you set vs having to gather and set.

Which was basically different slider sets.
You can still have this by adjusting sliders, atleast offline (never play online, I don´t even know if you can adjust sliders there).
