I just realized that the patch hasn't released on Xbox One yet... so please disregard what I said about the portraits lol... they still need to fix those timeouts though... that kinda kills the flow of the game

Ive often thought this as well. Its understandable to have some minor things slip thru the cracks, but it seems every yr, there are some major issues at release, that shouldnt be missed. I guess it is possible, they are caught, but just not fixed, when you see the same old issues each yr, that go unfixed, and you got to figure if the devs play the game, they surely know about them. For example, CPU not managing foul trouble correctly, this has been a issue for quite a few yrs now. I do wonder if game testers for sports games, are even hard core sports fans, because every yr there are some fairly major issues, in both NBA2k and MLBTS, and Madden, is so bad, I quit buying it probably 7yr ago. Typically NBA2k gets most issues fixed as does MLBTS devs, but like for instance with the CPU poor management of foul trouble, if they cant fix it, just be upfront and say, we cant fix it, for whatever reason, instead of just ignoring the issue.

I’ve said it before. The devs don’t have time to finish the game . They are told to make street date as is by their superiors called the head publishers at 2K. Honestly if devs had a say they Would release the game every two years

Truthfully, no...I wouldn't have discovered the zigzag cheese, because that's not how I play the game on a personal level. When I play the game, I play basketball. I don't play the game looking for exploits and glitches to use against my opponents in PNO. When I play ProAm, I create my player based on what I want my player to be. I don't go looking for the "best/easiest packages" in order to gain an extra advantage in Park and ProAm. If I were a game tester, I would more than likely find fundamental/situational problems in the game. Asking me to think like a cheeser is like asking me to think like a criminal. I'm just not wired that way.

EDIT: Also, there's a fine line of "breaking the game" and "working as intended". Zigzag technically works as intended from a gaming perspective, since it's a form of a crossover; however, can testers make a fair conclusion that it can be used as an exploit in head to head games?

You dont have to tell me that you play the game the right way. And nobody asks you to explicitely look for glitches as a customer. You are not a tester and not the developer of the game.

The first thing I thought right after release after I noticed what is possible now with the left stick was that its way too fast and will be overpowered and exploited. That could be seen from 1000 miles away...

Since yesterday servers really acting up. Pro am completely broken, always getting "game wont count" errors and still got a lose counted after one time it happened. After walk on game completed it kicks us all out to main menu every time and park quite unstable too with random errors as game finishes.

Its on PC version with no patch released yet, i hope patch 5 fixes things up.

Noticing after the patch that the CPU opponent is kicking the ball out more often for a 3, mid shot or mid drive in traffic which is a good thing!

Been a busy day but I hope I experience this when I play tonight...already been having good games since release so the more they continue to polish the AI the happier I'll be. Cpu defensive rotations have been great as well for me.

Maybe I just need to play more games, but it seems you cant draw charges since this this patch. I hopes thats not the case, but Im seeing blocking fouls, that should be called charges, I sure hope they didnt screw this up. Seems to be more contact under the basket now, which is a good thing. Also had hoped they would tune perimeter shooting fouls up, especially fouls on 3pt attempts, but still no fouls on 3 attempts.
Outside of that, the game feels about the same which is a good thing.

Any one has seen updated portraits in existing myleague saves? I still have Dion Waiters, James Johnson, etc with animated portraits in my existing myleague.

Photos have replaced animated ones in main menu roster though.

I'm using PS4 btw.
