    Re: Dear Randoms...

We should be able to select skybox camera (zoom 10, height 1) online, which isn't posssible ATM, most issues would be solved:

    - better transition defense (no blind spots)
    - better defensive rotation
    - better court vision for passing (seeing angles and gaps in the defense)
    - better ball handling

As I said you can't select skybox online, so we need to revert to broadcast generic (zoom 1, height 10) which is closest to skybox but comes with the problems you mentioned.

I mostly play H2H offline, nobody uses 2K cam over here, the autoflip is driving us crazy.

      Re: Dear Randoms...

I'll say one thing in defense of randoms. Too many people go into a rec game in party chat.

I have a decent bunch of people on my friends list and often get invited into groups to go play rec, though getting a full 5 can be hard and tedious. I'm always the one suggesting we switch priority to game chat during a game when we have randoms.

I've definitely been the random on a team full of guys in party chat and its infuriating as they clearly have no interest in communicating with me or sharing the ball.

I honestly wish it was impossible to do party chat in rec games. It makes the experience that much worse for people who do indeed just want to play pick up with 'randoms'.

I agree with pretty much everything you said except this. It is true there is a blind spot on broadcast and that's a disadvantage. The advantage comes when the possession switches and your screen doesn't automatically rotate and force you to run the wrong way wasting at least a second or two which is long enough in an nba game to go coast to coast more or less.

So I think they've both got their merits and demerits.

was just in a game where the PG and PF were in a screaming match with each other all game, while the other 3 of us were just laughing our asses off at the two of them and the SG/SF were talking about their jumpers in between the PG/PF screaming racial/homophobic/you name it insults at each other

somehow, we won the game by 20

They can’t see the court so that nullifies the fast break.

It’s usually guys 35+ who play on broadcast anyways
Lol. Loso, I've played with you and the PG in question.

Why? Aren‘t they supposed to take every shot possible from everywhere on the court, contested or not? Oh no, that are the 60ovrs that play their first game in Rec Center.

Hehe, I got no problems playing with 70+ guys, in park and rec. There are a lot than play better most of the bought 85+ guys.

But I refuse to play with 60's. Whats the point? I mean I even accept a 65 guy, but anyone who has not even raised some points in his athletic abilities is just a hindrance in every aspect of the game.

Practically everything that was mentioned here I see as well.... only it's with the friends I run with.

-No spacing, everyone cuts at the same time or tries to set me a pick since I'm the PG, which brings all their defenders. I don't even want the pick I'm looking for the space to either make a move to kick out or find an open player. They NEVER set off ball screens.

-Shooters with shooting archetypes pass up on an open 3 after I draw in the Def so they can dribble and drive

-They call for a switch on a pick I switch and they stay, so my guy is open and I get the bad teammate grade because it's my man

-Taking a highly contested shot with 2 people on you knowing someone else is wide open

-Being a big man and pressing full court spamming the steal button while your responsibility is running to the rim for an open dunk

I really notice they play for stats and now the W, so when we lose they can say "I got X amount of points". But off of how many shots? How many points you give up? How many turnovers?

Our big is "I got 4 blocks" But you gave up 15 offensive rebounds. Their possession doesn't end until we grab the board. You block him he gets the board and put it back up. 4 meaningless blocks.

All that being said, I'm no beast myself on the sticks but I believe my bball IQ is decent. Having bball IQ makes up for at lest 10 pts on your overall right?

Maybe I need a new playground crew/prom am squad? anyone looking for a pg?LOL

LoL. I say maybe because these are my buddies I've known for years. A few over 20.

Then again are they really your buddies if y'all haven't ridden on a banana boat together?

Can someone explain to me the thought process behind randoms who all have like 40% win percentage or less -- freezing out the only decent player (me). LOLOLOLOLOL. Let's freeze out the only one with IQ. Freakin brilliant. I swear these people are the mental midget trash of society. Idk why they all end up on NBA 2K, but there they are.

"But they're just kids". No, most of the people I've dealt with, they invite to party or go on mic or something, they're grown men with the iq of a kid.

Adding to this - watch out for "trash parties" or "trash buddies" / buddy ball. This is where all the low iq players team up together because no1 else will run with them lol. The only thing worse than 1 bum is 4 bums who all pass to each other. Down 20, 30? Don't matter. Keep doing the status quo. How's that workin out for ya.
