So many new cool things improved and added. I don't play MLO, but I'm so glad those people who play it are definitely getting a much needed upgrade. I'm definitely intrigued by that Mentorship thing, it adds another dimension to FA signings and trades; the Lonzo/Rondo and Ingram/Lebron examples were perfect to show how it could be happen not only in 2K19, but also in real life. Also, I loved how you can select between story-based ML and "traditional" ML, with different levels of difficulty; the best of both worlds, for sure.

Now I only need a rock solid gameplay without all the bull**** that we've seen in 2K18 and we're good to go. I might even skip MyCareer and focus on MyLeague if need be. I'll likely won't buy on release day and wait a few weeks though, because 2K18 infuriated me to no end.

Also, wish they would give an option of a career mode with the story element stripped away like they do with MyGM.

I've been negative about 2K in the past because MyLeagueOnline is all I've cared about. It seems like they've finally brought in everything I've been wanting and asking for. For the first time in three years I may be buying on day one. My only concern is how far they've gone with the testing and if there are any gamebreaking bugs after you get a certain amount of seasons in.

One thing that I've always wanted in online leagues is the ability to decrease the amount of teams.

It's hard to find 32 truly active people, and if over half the league is CPU then those teams tend to always get cheated on trades. It would be refreshing if 2k would allow us to run like 8, 10, or 12 team leagues too, if you want a super active league.

You have the option of importing one of these classes at the start of every NBA season.

You CAN do that, which is why I'm so damn excited about this feature. It's like replaying the entire history of the NBA on your console. FINALLY

Yep. I'm hoping to grab a nice 2002 roster and play a ML from about that point with the real classes. I loved the Kings back then and I'd love to win a title with them and then preside over an alternate version of the modern NBA.

As a almost exclusive offline MyLeague player I want to further mention how much I appreciate all of this. I know it isn't the money maker but playing these modes year after year has been a hobby of mine going all the way back to Dynasty Mode on NBA Live 2004. Going to wait a few weeks after launch just to see how these features are working but I fully expect to buy it in either late September or early October and I fully expect to put MANY hours into it. Looking forward to it.

Edit: Things I like the most are new NBA draft, 1-16 seeding, tournament for #1 pick, Player mentorship, and new all-star system. Definitely going to be utilizing these and probably some more I'm forgetting to mention.

Great stuff here, especially all the slider options for customization!

The one thing I was really hoping to see though was trade value for horrible contracts (Deng, Noah, Mahinmi, etc).

Is it possible to make it so that some players actually have negative trade value?

Its too easy dumping bad contracts right now, Wizards should not be able to swap Ian Mahinmi for a 2nd round pick.

In all seriousness though, great news about finally having a full featured MyLeague online, that's what I've been waiting for since Online Association went away. Should be fun and challenging getting back into NBA gaming with such a seemingly deep and immersive game like NBA2k19.

Companies that produce high quality products, that year over year reflect their effort to deliver authenticity and customization, in not just marketing but with actions, deserve to be supported.

Can't wait!
