Re: NBA 2K19 MyLEAGUE and MyGM Developer Blog
This is all well and dandy, but nothing mentioned about having to start over on roster work (unless already in a franchise) every time they add uniforms, shoes, jersey patches etc...... to the game. Nothing more annoying than having to restart roster editing every week that something is added. Hopefully this is reverted back to 2k17 where people didn't have to start over each time.Comment

Re: NBA 2K19 MyLEAGUE and MyGM Developer Blog
Maybe you're right it might not have been the time to ask, but it's would be useful to have this kind of information.
2 Years ago when they released their MyLeague blog they stated we would have to start our franchises over every time something was added to the game like shoes, courts, jerseys and what not.
There is a work around by just starting a franchise and just editing inside (update apply in existing franchises) MyLeague, but the downside to its when 2K adds missing players to the game you're SOL unless you start over or just create a CAP for that specific player and add him to the FA pool.Last edited by ShowTyme15; 08-02-2018, 08:15 PM.Comment

Re: NBA 2K19 MyLEAGUE and MyGM Developer Blog
Everything sounds great in this blog, if it all works right that is. NBA2k devs over the yrs have always added many new features, as well as adding in old features they took out, only to add back after a few yrs, but the game has also had features added, that end up not working right. So while it all sounds good in writing, you never can trust that it will all work right.
While I liked what I read, the 1 thing I have been wanting them to add for several yrs now, and its been my biggest gripe with the game for many yrs, is the sim stats issues that plague MyLeague and MyGm, and even MyCareer, if your just playing it offline and have no desire to take your MyPlayer online to play with others.
I have been wanting sliders added to fix the sim stat issues since they cant seem to get the sim engine to deliver accurate stats. So this is the 1 thing I really had hoped to finally hear them say, they did.
So while I liked what I heard in the blog, I am disappointed that there was no mention of sliders for to fix sim stats in the smulated games in your Association.
I did like what I heard other than that, hopefully at a later date they talk about if they fixed the sim engine, so stats reflect closer to real life.Everyone who exalts themselves will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted- Luke14-11

Re: NBA 2K19 MyLEAGUE and MyGM Developer Blog
For what it's worth I listened to the interview that Brian Mazique had with Erick Boenisch and transcribed the topic of editing scanned players.
Brian Mazique:
Do you know whether or not, scanned players, can you use the editor on their faces or change their hairstyles or is it just the scanned head?
Erick Boenisch:
The scanned head is the scanned head, but you can obviously do things around it, like facial hair, the hair, putting the lines to the hair, you can do all of that. Doing the morphs on the faces, it’s two different texts that kind of collide at that point.
Mazique:
Right, but you can change hairstyles on a scan?
Boenisch:
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah…
Mazique:
Ok, you couldn’t do that before.
Boenisch:
That’s one of the missing items, we’re actually working on that last week so I saw some good progress with it.
Mazique:
That’s is awesome!
Boenisch:
I’m pretty sure that’s gonna get there, so let me, that’s when I can get back to you, so I know [inaudible]...even as we speak.
Mazique:
I hope that does make it..."Behind every fortune is a crime"Comment

Re: NBA 2K19 MyLEAGUE and MyGM Developer Blog
I wish they added something to fix win loss issues. A lot of times good teams barely make the playoffs. I also wish you can lock minutes in instead of the ai adjusting minutes. If i want my rookie averaging 40 minutes exhausted let me.
One more thing they should add. Scoring titles, leading the league in assist, rebounds ect should be added to the player card with awards. I know it has the history but would be cool to quickly check it out on the player card.Comment

I don't watch the NBA, the only thing I know about the league is the information I get from sports talk radio. The last basketball game I bought was College Hoops 2k5. With that being said this article has me buying this game. I only play franchise modes and I can't wait to get my hands on this game... oh well, maybe next year..

Re: NBA 2K19 MyLEAGUE and MyGM Developer Blog
As someone who plays the hell out of ML these improvements and additions both big and small are the icing on an already delicious cake. It's going to be tough going back to my 2k18 ML save until 19 drops after this lemme tell ya.
I don't see anyone talking about the nice new menus, 2k18s menus looked plain after staring at them for hours on end so that's a very welcome change.
Only very minor nitpick would be the return of the action shots as shown with the screenshot of Trae Young, I was really hoping they moved past that this year as it really doesn't do the presentation any favors.Comment

Re: NBA 2K19 MyLEAGUE and MyGM Developer Blog
I don't think so. I know a few people have mentioned it, it would be a good idea to put it in the MyLeague wish-list for 2K20 whenever Davez puts it up.Comment
