I've never seen someone so proud in spending money to buy virtual currency in a video game.

still changed your mind or were your first impressions correct? maybe ya shoulda trusted ya intuition, now that i been posting here for a couple days and ya lay out all my posts only a couple are of what you perceive as bragging, rest are all ideas to improve 2k, and the few i "bragged" i had ideas to improve 2k in em, i just had to get outta the way im not some random, im legit and i know what im talking bout

I have bought the game for the last 10 years, how am I not supporting the product. And I wouldn't criticize them for ignoring sim players, MyLeague mode is great and it got updated, I would criticize them for making mistakes in replicating the fundamentals of the game, as I did with the 2k18, I think their goal should be to create the game that would simulate the basketball as close as possible, if that means catering to sim players that is ignoring them if they fail to do that, then yeah, I blame them for that

So I didn’t think this was a big deal at first but this is what got me .


It I want to play the game early . =99.99$
If I want my guy to be a 85 = 190k VC

The preorder only gives 100k VC . So If I want to play the game early and be an 85 I have to buy the 100$ edition AND turn around and buy more VC ? Wtf is that .

But I can’t buy the 59.99 edition and buy VC and play early . Which is what I would prefer :

I’m playing early but I’m not buying VC on top of paying for the 100$.

This is very simple in my eyes:

If you are a big My Team fan and you want to get the game early....get the lebron version

If you aren’t bothered by paying 100 bucks for a game and you want to play the game early...get the lebron version.

Other than that you should probably wait. I fall in the 2nd category so I’m getting the game early.

Why not just let those that preorder at all play the game on the 7th ? It was done in the past . What could be the motivation for that .

Man ppl have lives, kids, car notes, house mortgage, student loans, grocery expenses, health bills, credit card bills, repair bills and many other things that they probably prioritize over spending $200 on a video game.

Just because ppl have other priorities besides video gaming doesn’t make them cheap. Supporting the game is buying it. Anything else outside of that is your choice. You don’t buy VC because you support the product. You buy VC because it benefits you. If VC wasn’t used to upgrade your player or for my team stuff it wouldn’t make 2k nearly as much money. If it was just strictly for donations to support 2Ks product you wouldn’t donate $60 when you make a new player just because you support the game. Stop it

the 100k VC will make ya pretty solid if ya know where to put ya VC, then ya player will be good enough where earning the rest of the VC to finish ya build will be enjoyable and not frustrating cause your guy will be able to compete online a bit,

my advice is regarding online my players who are not trying to buy extra vc on top of the 100k, but i recommend just getting 20-50 bucks in VC on top of that and you will be all set day 1 but i understand not everyone is prepared to compete at the highest level, nor does everyone want to do that, but if you're a comp player this has been the day 1 standard of highest level of online 2k my players for years now

the "whales" will drop over $100 on VC day 1, whales are those pay to compete losers in gaming in case ya didnt know haha, they spend way to much money on games, and those are the people you probably hate the most if your anti VC haha, dont shoot the messenger have a nice day

whales are the online players that have like 3 builds already in 1st week of game lol they the ones always like i didnt like this or that bout this build and constantly make new ones, people like me try to zero in on one build but inevitable end up making multiple builds over the year

I'm buying the early edition and then giving all the vc to my nephew and he's gonna give me the Giannis cover as trade. Works out well for me.
