Gotta peep that before you make your guy a point forward

Unless you plan on building your offense around post hops like i ended up doing at the end of this year. I know my primary will be post scoring but I’m kinda stuck between making his secondary athletic finishing, Shot creating, Or going pure again. Silver difficult shots would be amazing how i play but then again i shouldn’t be making a whole build centered around one shot. But i really don’t want to go pure again. Iv been pure post since 2k made archetypes. I want to dabble in another gamestyle for a bit

Well, going full weight also has no disadvantages

Also my guy's problem was more that I made one of my Centers 6'11 instead of 7'3, especially when it came to shot contest success

I'ma just stick with my 6'10 sharp shot creator...

He's like KD, just slower lol but not much i can do about that.

I don't wanna be Jordan, I don't wanna be Bird or Isiah, I don't wanna be any of those guys.
I want to look in the mirror and say I did it my way.

Actually I hope that point forwards won't get HOF ankle breaker, but a different HOF badge than playmaker guards, as well as different takeover bonuses.

As point forward in 2k17 and 2k18, I wasn't a fan of ankle breaking. Don't like it on a 6'8/6'10 guy.

Im really thinking about making my main build a shot creator either pure play shot or slash shot 6'8 shooting guard. But i have to see the attributes first and badges. It was confirmed that we will be able to see all that in the full game from mike wang.

6'11 Primary Post Secondary Sharp PF ( Chris Bosh/Kevin Love)

6'5 Primary Playmaker Secondary Sharpshooter SG (James Harden)

6'0 Primary Playmaker Secondary Shotcreator PG (Chris Paul)

Everyone is going to make SF's/PG's/C's in random Pro-Am, so at least I'll always be able to get full games when I decide to run with randoms.

If I'm not running with randoms then those builds are still viable.

                  From Zach Timmerman's twitter

In comparison with 2K18, there is more of a difference in MyCareer between a PG & SG as well as a PF & C when it comes to badges in
                  #NBA2K19
. Each position stands out on it's own, SGs and PFs more desirable than before

Really hope this means the death of the PF and C both being 7'3.

From My understanding of Listening to Chris Smoove and Ronnie2k Multi Archtypes Dont Get Hof Badges Now They could change that from now and untill then But when Chris Smoove Played the Only Archtypes that Got Hof Badges Was Pure Archtypes

Every single year I make a SG because I just like tricking myself into thinking that's what I am, even though I always end up playing point for my team (My guards are usually modeled after Wade)

This year I was going to make a PG so I can get put there more often in walk on games

I might change my mind now ...

I really hope it brings back the variety, in 2k17 i used a 6'10 Paint Protector, played mainly PF with some C in ProAm, playing on an Elite 4 squad i saw everything from 7'3 bigs to 6'7 sharpshooters and point forwards playing PF whereas in 17 i almost never saw anyone under 6'11 playing because the speed differential in 17 disappeared for 18.

this sounds like a really nice "**** it, it's February and I'm bored with my guy and gonna do what I wanna do" build

Zach said that 70% of builds will at least have one HOF badge. Pure's of course have more.
