We played some guys with 140+ JRC games each and winning records last night, they had the cheeseball lineup of 4 shot creators mixed with sharps and some pures, and 1 point forward. Their plan backfired cause we were playing with 3 lockdown defenders at 6'6, 6'7 and 6'10 2 were SGs and 1 was an SF plus we had a rim protector. They ended up all quitting before the end of the first quarter when it was 37-10, was satisfying to know they were there to run their cheese crap and beat up on people, but got completely destroyed.

Ant tips on guarding sharp shooting slashers?

Those are the only type that seems to give me trouble.

I'm always torn in between trying to play up against the 3 or playing off to guard against the drive

When you can hit 80% of your three point attempts but only about 60% of your contested layups it becomes obvious what the most efficient scoring option is.

I have difficult shots, midrange deadeye, acrobat and tireless shots all maxed out on my pure shot creator. I want to continuing leveling up until I get speed boost.

just got my first hashmark pullup that wasn't green but went in anyways loooooool

7/10 from three,3 limitless in my first game with no upgrades

I played a guard in the rec last night with about a 26 ppg average and pretty good win percentage...

Pure sharp, all he did was zig zag and behind the back off of screens...

Hit greens when he's completely contested..

And he was just cherry picking all game..he got 30 but lost by like 20...I'm like cool get your numbers if they're so important lol..just know playing as a sharp is real easy but also real easy to lose track of playing good ball lol

The worst thing I saw so far was when I was against a Pure Sharp whose matchup quit. He sat a few feet behind the 3 point line while the Glass Cleaner set screens right in front of him. Every time the AI went under the screen, buckets. Guy finished 17 for 20. I tried contesting a few times but every time I stepped up, the GC would roll to the bucket and the AI wouldn’t switch so I’d get a breakdown.

I have a pure shot creator PG, but I kind of want to play something different as well. I'm not completely sure what I want to do for a second build. Maybe make a pure post scorer lol

C gives you HOF rim protector though, but you lose a few from HOF/Gold. If you make the the same size the attributes are practically identical between SF/PF/C.

The smaller centres/pfs are slept on, the lateral quickness you have is insane for that size and you can still push people around. Once you get the badges your inside game is serviceable too.

no its not. your speed doesnt help much because they have once again allowed 7'2 bigs to catch up to you on a break and stop your mommentum just by them pressing the reach button. your later quicks is fine until you run into a 7foot pure sharp who you should be quicker than. but you wont be. and he will just do the side to side cheese to get you off of him and there's not much you can do about it. pray your teammates know when and how to help. this last patch made it hell for the shorter bigs, but especially non rebounder/defender bigs. if you are actually trying to score INSIDE vs other defense. forget about it. 2k has nerfed this ability to score in the post consistently. sure you will have some games where you beast. then you will have games where you're 1-9 in the first half or so. but for no real reason. blowing open layups no matter when you release it. bricking dunks, lol. i blew 3 dunks in one game after the patch. not in traffic either. pathetic. i rage quit off that last blown dunk. called it a night and went to sleep. lol.
