Earlier in the year prior to patches. HOF gameplay with defensive settings adjusted meticulously. Good competitive game as well

My final verdict on this sim thing for nba 2k19 is that the momentum engine is simply overpowered and needs to be toned down a bit which will probably come once the AI is actually smarter and more plays are in the game

There are some clumsy/awkward actions to start some of the Mavs Series plays, but the off-ball actions are well designed. Czar is putting good basketball actions in the game.

It’s about time they put those actions through QA to make sure the AI can execute them correctly. There’s a 2 second dribble left/right/backwards sequence from a standstill position after receiving a pass in many of the newer plays that seems to have no purpose other than positioning for the next pass. If you listen to any basketball coach they will preach ball movement, spacing, and playing with pace. It’s not possible to play consistently with pace in 2K until they clean up the tempo of those actions so players move in/out of passes/cuts with momentum instead of those start/stop sequences from a standstill position.

Agree with you on everything, thus having said that ...

Da_Czar is still the prez of simball !, great he brought those in the game, even if with some hipcups. to his credit, he did ask for our feedback when plays, series, (etc) were added, so he could go back and fix them ... there is more than what meets the eye when producing/developing videogames, specially when things of this nature are introduced when the cycle for the next iteration is running wild for more than a few weeks.

Hope playbooks still get some further enhancements as he did with the teams that were addressed a while back, the rest of playbooks/teams are in great need of such, authenticity and proficiency (to call it somehow).

We are aware of the inmense value these type of features bring to the game prez, even if it may not look like it or do not know how to express ourselves better, we do, keep the good work and the motivation up !
