Re: Differences in Difficulty Levels (Da Czar)
I learnt alot from yor game footage and I replicate some in my gameplay. I'll encourage the SIM nation folks to watch them if got time. What I admired was u and yor opponents are very disciplined to stick to the "rules" of the game and not exploit by running Pnr every single time.
What I couldnt and wouldnt replicate are (1) hiding of the play art vision (I got too many on my playbook, sometimes got mixed up), (2) in-game injury (I want to challenge the best of the team at full strength) and (3) hiding of shot meter (helped me reduce the learning curve of each player shot animation).
I will try out HOF with tweaked sliders like u suggested and feedback on the gameplay (once I got the game ....)

2. I always been a real time roster guy. Just a preference.
3. Never been a fan of the shot meter, but your point is a good 1 as to why it is helpful.
There are not many people like you and I left. We are dinosaurs. The integrity of how people play basketball on 2k disgusts me. God bless those guys in Play Now, I have no idea how that can be a satisfying experience. I appreciate the kind words homeboy.Psn: Alabamarob

Re: Differences in Difficulty Levels (Da Czar)
Usually the best slider makers give the game time to breathe to see if what is happening in the game needs fixed or not. Or they just didn't spend $100 for the advance copy. Re: Differences in Difficulty Levels (Da Czar)
Playing MyCareer on HOF and I agree that even average defenders are pretty quick. However there is still a sizable difference between them and the Lockdown Defenders. Was completely shut down by Jimmy Butler the other day...never happened to me before. I have to be pretty on point with free throws or else I have a decent chance to miss, and the same with my jumper. I have been driving and drawing fouls while I learn the proper timing on my jumper. It is forcing me to develop more nuanced with PnR play. Playing defense on HoF (build is playmaking sharpshooter) has been brutal though and has been the toughest part of the experience.Comment

Re: Differences in Difficulty Levels (Da Czar)
Well after playing the game, I can definitely say I see what Czar meant. Definitely got my slice of humble pie from the A.I on HOF and Superstar. All Star seems like a happy medium for me so far. Love the way the defense is and the new contest system for sure. Makes things a lot more realistic. Gonna play around with some sliders later as FG% still seems a tad bit too high, but i'm enjoying the hell out of the game so far even though i'm getting my butt kicked lol.Comment

I’m playing Player Lock on All Star and FG% all seem high. I’m 2-5 in my CHI MyLeague and (I’ll confirm) both teams are usually above 50%.
But, because I’m still getting my arse handed to me it’s no biggie. LOL

Yh FG% is definitely too high...everyone shooting above 50%. Gonna try and tweak some sliders when I get home.Last edited by WarMMA; 09-11-2018, 04:39 PM.Comment

Then maybe you need to be playing on the higher difficulties if you're blowing out the CPU.Comment

Re: Differences in Difficulty Levels (Da Czar)
Yea, was just saying that because people are saying All Star is the best best tuned mode. I was curious to try Bucks because I played with them last year and it was way too easy to dunk with Giannis. He still had 4 dunks for me but it was harder to get into the lane.Comment

Stuck with All Star for most of last year so that’ll probably be the case again this year.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: Differences in Difficulty Levels (Da Czar)
I thot I was playing HOF custom sliders when I realise late in 3rd quarter i am on PRO. Changed to custom HOF and was able to log a triple double 30-10-10 with Giannis and mid range uncontested shots were money.
Giannis a beast. I'll run with them this year since he's on cover. Will update again 2nite on HOF full 11 min-quarter
I also played classic lakers vs classic kings on playnow (custom HoF) in my first 2K19 game. Man, the cpu threw a backboard alley opp to Weber. That was unguardable!
