    PTS: Z. LaVine (chi) - 44
    REB: W. Carter Jr. (chi) - 10
    AST: J.J. Redick (phi) - 8

I would say it is easier to drive on All-star than HOF because the on ball defense is less suction contact dependent and a wider range of defenders can defend, shuffle their feet right out the box. On HOF the CPU defenders react very fast in all types of scenarios. All-Star just feels more natural as far as reaction time to passes, blocked shots etc.

They definitely added something under the hood between HOF vs. All-star. Depending on your play style certain things will stand out.

I 100% agree. The D is too sticky on HOF. But there is no difference in sliders. It’s under the hood.

As far as I can tell there is little difference between the difficulty levels other than shooting and on ball D.

Although we all need bigger sample sizes.

I like the thread! Keen to read through this to see others thoughts.

alabamarob had a pretty interesting suggestion about HOF with tweaked CPU shooting sliders.

But I'm definitely keen to find the right experience and (right now) it's not Superstar for me.
I am able to beat guys off the dribble so i dont have a big gripe with hof on ball defense in my limited action on 2k19. On the prelude hof i could drive at will, and my iso skills are average at best. I will know more tomorrow when i get unlimited time with the game.

You're really underestimating your abilities. Average players(Who don't exploit) really have a very tough time driving and scoring on HOF. Like Czar said in the latest video today, some of us to win on HOF would have to do the same things over and over again to get a win, but it really wouldn't be a fun experience.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

This was infuriating last year...because they would reach at inopportune times but virtually never make an actual play.

My teammate A.I make so many impactful defensive plays this year, I can kind of tolerate it, lol

Re: Differences in Difficulty Levels (Da Czar)

I'm in total agreement with Rob on HOF with CPU shooting edited to be more in line with the user's.

I beat the CPU by 40 on superstar, user shooting is just too easy. But even on superstar the CPU makes way too much, the thing is though I shot in the high 50's%.

It really isn't about being a high level iso skill player, drives are going to happen for you even on HOF if you attack the PnR correctly and off the swing pass with the defense moving. Get them leaning and the lanes will be there.

The key is, and I'm guilty of this often too, don't make up your mind what you're going to do before you do it, read and react to what the defense gives you.

Re: Differences in Difficulty Levels (Da Czar)

I swallowed my pride and bumped down the difficulty from All Star to Pro and then to Rookie.

I play strictly MYLeague and want to get the best experience from just playing sim ball. My stick skills are just average and I'm able to get very competitive games both winning and losing games against the CPU. Never felt cheating or that I'm abusing the CPU in any of them. The defensive reaction on Rookie feels just right and on a realistic level to me.

I had to bump up the penalty sliders to the level they are in All Star to get a decent amount of FT attempts on both sides.

Thanks for this thread as I was really starting to get frustrated against the CPU on All Star which I originally thought would give the best SIM experience for me.

If it is based on tendencies then it adds alot to the game. Nothing worst then watching the ball be dribbled right in front of a teammate as they stand there and do nothing. Good addition. Imo

I learnt alot from yor game footage and I replicate some in my gameplay. I'll encourage the SIM nation folks to watch them if got time. What I admired was u and yor opponents are very disciplined to stick to the "rules" of the game and not exploit by running Pnr every single time.

What I couldnt and wouldnt replicate are (1) hiding of the play art vision (I got too many on my playbook, sometimes got mixed up), (2) in-game injury (I want to challenge the best of the team at full strength) and (3) hiding of shot meter (helped me reduce the learning curve of each player shot animation).

I will try out HOF with tweaked sliders like u suggested and feedback on the gameplay (once I got the game ....)
