To get by people in HOF it's all about dribbling and timing. If I cant get past, then I back then down. You have to mix it up

Re: Differences in Difficulty Levels (Da Czar)

Czar just dropped a video on indepth understanding on HOF level. Stick skills is what mattered, like Sam Pham.

Anyway, I did some practice at various difficulty levels on dribble drive move (while standing double tap right stick to offball hand and RT with left stick to blow by defender towards the ball side direction).

On Rookie, able to get into the paint.
On Pro, still manage, but have to try very hard.
AS and above, very very very hard. Stick to me like a glue.

I was Giannis and Taj Gibson my onball defender.

Exactly how I feel!!!! But its a bit too easy, I think adjust sliders or try SS is not bad option too!

Het guys so I'm in slider hell, idk what sliders to use. I want to stay on HOF though and get realistic gameplay, with the shooting percentages to generally vary between 45-55%. Ive read that keeping cpu and user shooting on 45, does this really balance out the game enough? I usually play on 9 or 10 minute quarters. Also how much does shot tendency affect things?

Is there a difficulty level where matchups are more thought-out by the CPU? Seeing Kyrie Irving guard Russell Westbrook just bugs the hell out of me.

Playing that minutes can hardly score more than 100 a game. But yes, u see both cpu and user missing open shots.

I have to now redo literally all my sliders cus I have to lower the difficulty setting. I *think* I had it set to hof and im slowly figuring out the game is complete garbage on it. I was playing with an overpowered team for a while so I didnt notice it but it's just insane. They block everything they come close to whatever they have in shot blocking, Tray Young can lockdown good PGs while you cant get away with playing a single bad defender without them destroying them. You find like 2-3 ways of scoring efficiently and EVERYTHING else is completely worthless. it's straight garbage. Pissed off I gotta redo all the sliders now *** **** it

IF you made it this far, one thing i would lower is the contact shot frequencies, and tone the defensive sliders down to like 70

Can anyone help me out with dilemma i'm facing? I've been playing 2K for many years as i'm sure most of you have as well, and have been getting absolutely wrecked this year on All-Star and higher. I only play as The Heat and always win by about 14 points in Pro so there's no challenge, but when I flip higher it's screw me city. Kyrie and The Celts, Lillard and McCollumm fine, but even the Bulls were all lights out on me.

I've even messed around with sliders in HOF and lowered the CPU to match Human and well, maybe i'm just not as good as I thought I was!

I hate to say it but this game is beyond frustrating me and perhaps i've been trying too hard and should just continue on Pro until I start blowing them out by 20. Maybe I should truly master Pro before I move forward.

                        Suggestions or ideas anyone?

I’m right there with you. Went 3-21 in a CHI MyLeague before I deleted it. This was mostly on All Star. I play position lock on the PG but even when I stopped they’d go on runs and the game would be over. I don’t want them to make the game easier at all. Maybe it just wasn’t meant for position lock with regular non-MyCareer supe’d guys. Shrug

I had 2 consecutive triple double with Giannis on custom HOF, lowered to 45 for shooters. I could win consistently and I think bcos 45 could be too low for the Cpu. However, I got blown out by 20+ when played against the warriors.

I had more success when running set plays as I know where are my guys. Once I master the Series, my play level could get better.

What is yor playing style - manual Pnr, call plays in manual mode or auto mode or just freelance? Do u use default Heat playbook? Are u struggling on defense or offense? Are u real time% or user timing? Not able to guard the post guy or Pnr action? Do u use any of the defensive settings?
I'm assuming u are referring to offline.

do attributes even matter for the cpu on HOF? I feel like no matter what team I am playing against I am Vsing the same players. Everyone is a knockdown 3 point shooter and mid range expert and if they are open it is falling regardless of attributes

Its not just HOF. The Cpu is equally sharp on SS. Just tune it down to yor liking.
