The more I play the more I don’t think that you can customize a level. Custom difficulty is a difficulty of its own. No matter what you start on, when you go custom, it’s custom.

I could be wrong but that’s how I feel.

Can't say I agree what is noticeable to me is timing window for shooting and reaction time of the CPU.

I have tried default SS default HOF and both edited with 45 shooting sliders for user and CPu. You can see the reaction tome of the cpu ratchet up as you move up

For the most part is related to reaction times for AI and user, AI has faster reaction time and user has less time to react. Not sure about ACE being more prevalent and depth on the higher levels.

Hi, thx for the reply. So that means, if I edit the HOF sliders and make them all look identical as the Allstar sliders, the game will still be a lot harder as the slider set was edited based on HOF originally, it won't be same type of difficulty as Allstar...right?

The cpu defense part matters most in HOF. u'll see the cpu reacts faster on recovery, and everyone plays almost like Kawhi. The individual player defense ratings wont matter (the good and the bad defenders play equally good onball defense). So yes, when u adjust down the scale from HOF u can experience the same level of 'hard to score with everyone playing solid defense' experience. Playing at All Star on default feels like u can really break the ankles of Carmelo Anthony but not Kawhi.

On offense, adjusting down to 50 on default i.e. All Star its still high, I find 47 more realistic for shooting percentage. u'll see more misses on open threes.

The part in bold - u can check out Czar videos to affirm that.

Anyway, playing the Clippers with Pat, Kawhi, Montreal and George at custom HOF sliders - I feel like playing against a wall, so damn hard to score on them. On the other hand when I played the Hawks, I blow them out like 20 points.

Maybe you can help me out...I use cpu vs cpu with game create players teams ect...I have downloaded JJJ’s superstar sliders.
My question is as a cpu cpu experience for achieving sim realism what difficulty would you recommend?

Allstar gives you an offensive advantage in the slider setup. Just match the cpu sliders to the user and it plays a good game of basketball. Why they chose to give the user an advantage, who knows?

So I should adjust the player or user sliders same as cpu...even though I’m running cpu vs cpu sim right...I think I’m understanding...

Adjust the cpu sliders to the user sliders. The user has higher defensive sliders than the cpu on Allstar.
