My guy's a post defender and I started him from 60 just to do it legit. 250lb, can be slow but 88 strength right now and just unmovable.

7"3 guys in the park think they can easily post me up. He's 82 right now cause I did get some VC so enjoy him online right away cause there's some potential there. I have an 87 PG for the Raptors as well.

Game values height and length more than people think, in terms of standing reach for quicker rebounds and blocks and such, or even getting challenges. So there's all the cutscenes and gameplay of doing it with a 60 ovr, just to prove anyone can do it.

There's still some glitches and needs some tweaking but it looks amazing with a good graphics card.

Yeah I don’t really get past anyone with my SF either. I usually rely on pick and roll or cutting to the basket for my shots.

Yeah, Kobe and MJ never posted up and used the fade :P.

I don't think i've EVER seen Demar Derozan beat anyone with his first step in his entire career, maybe a few times.

He's like the perfect person to watch since he has no explosiveness either but one hell of a post game

The Jimmy Butler news is the main reason why I don't start MyCareer right away. There always seem to be major trade rumors before the NBA season starts. That type of trade changes the landscape of the NBA and will affect the team I want to choose. Also strongly doubt that the Suns will go into the season with just Tyler Ullis and Brandon Knight(Combo guard/currently injured) at PG. So I expect them to make a trade for a starting quality PG. Most likely Patrick Beverly. I will still wait until the start of the NBA season to start my career, so my first year matches the start of current NBA season.

How has the trade logic amongst CPU teams looked in MyCareer? Does the user teams make trades? The last couple of years, there have been lopsided trades amongst CPU teams and/or didn't make sense for both teams. So many times you see teams having logjams at positions causing bad lineup issues. That brings me to user teams. It was frustrating seeing being on a team that has a logjam at a position, especially at your position. I signed to a team last year that a log jam at my position, but had potential to be a good team. I was a center and there were a total of 7 big men in our rotation. They didn't make any trades. I had to sim a couple of seasons and grind to 90 OVR to suggest trades.

Knight already got traded to the Rockets, Ulis is in the G League... I wouldnt worry too much about trades that might happen by year 2 the landscape of the nba is completely changed anyways... D Wade and Melo are both on the Kings now in my league lol

Knight already got traded to the Rockets, Ulis is in the G League... I wouldnt worry too much about trades that might happen by year 2 the landscape of the nba is completely changed anyways... D Wade and Melo are both on the Kings now in my league lol

That is how it has been last few years lol. 2nd year always get crazy. My main concern is the first season mainly because it is the most I will play. Once the second season start, I start simming often and just play key games. So, I want the first season to almost reflect NBA season.

I signed a max contract, and it's now beyond annoying when the game still doesn't sub you out properly.

Coach just gonna keep me in for 48 apparently, and I already have 4 fouls by in 2nd, and I'm still in. wtf
oh there we go. took till 2 minutes left in the 2nd

I hated that past few years. Last year once I got to 90, I initially set my minutes to 32-33 so I don't have to be forced to play all game. So last year at most I played 38-39 minutes. So I hope when I start and get to 90 it remains the same

I like playing on 12 minute quarter(higher difficulties) so I can get realistic NBA stats. I play within the offense, so I don't get agressive with trying to put crazy stats. But I don't like it when I'm playing over 40 minutes a game. I don't have time to play every day or mutliple hours. So playing 40 minutes in a game equates to over a hour in play time. So at most I only play 1-2 games in days I play.
My target range is 33-38 minutes a game. I just wish they did a better job at distributing minutes in games. I hated how they did in past couple hours. Where they have you playing the whole first quarter, then the last 6-7 minutes of second quarter, then anywhere between 18-24 minutes in second half. So by fourth quarter you pretty much have no energy

There is simply no way people will be able to get the Alpha Dog badge, it requires you to lead the team in all 5 major categories (pts,rebs,ast,stl,blk) for a game. On HOF Difficulty its 750 XP per game leading in all 5 categories, it requires you to get 20,000 XP to obtain the badge so it takes 27! games doing this, what was 2K thinking?

How tall did you make your SF? I made the same build but made him 6'9. I'm enjoying playing with this build very much. I just need to find a jumpshot that I can be consistent with. I'm debating changing myplayer once I reach 92 to a pure sharp, I still get the posterizer badge so I'll still be able to dunk on people. I just won't be able to get any of the contact dunk animations.

Are you sure you’ll still be able to dunk on people without the contact dunk animations? I was the one that asked Zach if you could dunk on people if you only could get the badge. He said yeah. I am 90% sure he was wrong or mistaken for at least my PG.

When I asked him, I was talking about a Shot creating/Playmaker that received posterizer on bronze. So I asked. Luckily, I changed my mind when the game came out to a shot creating/slasher who does get all the contact dunks. The thing is though, I had silver posterizer for most of the season and it was impossible to catch contact without the contact dunk animations. I needed my dunking to be a 84 to at least get the pro ones and I did not receive that until my I filled the first bar in my 90 overall. Soon as I was able to buy them, I started getting contact dunks easily.

I really believe he was wrong or mistaken at least as far as it goes for PG’s. So I would verify with someone that has that build that they’ve actually had a contact dunk before I make one. I would’ve been so mad if I went with the build I was originally going to choose and then learn I could not catch contact.

Yea im not 100% sure about the dunking, Im just assuming just because I'm 6'9 and I still get a bronze posterizer badge with this build that I'd still be able to catch some bodies. Only cons about making a pure shot creator is that you're a step slower which sucks cause I'm already slow, you don't get any "contact dunk animations" (personal con for me)

You’re good. I really think you should see if someone is catching contact dunks without the animations so you don’t get your dude up and find out you cannot. Because it definitely was impossible for my guy that had slasher in him and silver posterizer until I got the animations.
