Idk about broken. I played all morning and didnt come across any issues

I left it alone for a while and the servers stopped actin up but yeah I checked on YouTube during the time this was happening to me and the servers were just down at that moment. Every year there is a point in time that 2k servers start actin up lol. I kept getting a certain error code and just gave up but later it started working again.

What team did you choose?

I picked Phoenix Suns as my team since I like going to a team that hasn’t won a championship or doesn’t do good in general. I wanna get them a championship.

What build and position?

I’m running a 6’0 PG Playmaker primary, and shot creating secondary. I love this build, since I wanted to create a Chris Paul style of gameplay. (Still have bronze Lob city Passer though because Ayton can’t dunk...). Right now I’m only on Pro but after the first season I’m gonna go up to Superstar. I’ve stuck with Pro to get myself used to controls, better at dribbling, used to call PnR and which side I want the pick on. Been watching Da_Czar’s videos as well and that helped me tremendously.


Any additional thoughts?

Even though I’m undersized and underweight (168 lbs I believe) this build is fun online as well. Most of the time I’m passing but when I’m open I can make my shot if I time it right but that’s more so a user thing then a game thing.

In MyCareer it’s pretty easy to get fouls while driving to the paint, but I’m also on Pro so that could be why. Once I finish this season, and up it to Superstar I’ll see how viable it is. But I’m enjoying it offline and online and that’s good enough for me.

I've started a new career this week.
I made a 6"10 SF 225 lbs. Shot Creator/Sharpe Shooter.

I'm enjoying this build so far, had a blast during the prelude & G League, this is the first time in 2K I've made & played as a SF..
I joined the AD and Pels once I got to the NBA.

I signed with Nike but I’m able to wear Jordan sneakers in game and park without being penalized. Is this a glitch or am I missing something bc I have another player and he’s signed with Jordan and I wore nikes in a Park game and I got a text from my agent saying Jordan brand was upset, this was before the new patch so maybe that could have something to do with it? Has this happened to anyone else?

Anyone know anything about dunking with 1 hand vs 2 in regards to getting it blocked?

Guy in the park the other night mentioned dunking with 2 hands instead of one to prevent it, but is there any truth to that? I know that's the case in real life, but does it truly have any effects in the game?

joystick up will make a 2 hand dunk. joystick left will dunk 1 hand left side. joystick right will dunk 1 hand right side.

I knew the left and right. Didnt know about the up. Thanks

So I finally got to 90 overall and I decided to test out the trade for feature. I remember it being broken in last year’s game, so I was curious to see how it worked this year. I decided to trade for Kemba walker for no particular reason (tho his 3 pt shooting is needed) and we actually did it! We ended up trading away Brandon Ingram. It works out cause he’ll be a free agent next year and I won’t need to re sign him cause I made my team target klay Thompson and Ben Simmons in the off-season. Anyone else use the trade for feature with success?

I'm pretty much waiting until black Friday sales ro buy NBA 2k19. I'm waiting more because I have other ganes I am focusing on rather than price. But I still managed to stock up 32+K VC using MyNBA2k app every day since release. So depending on when sales start, I will save up another 10k-14k VC
I will make a Def/3pt PF. I will make him 6'9 so that he affects players who are 6'6-7'0. So that is essentially 4 positions. 5 positions if it is tall PG or 3 if it is a shorter SG. With 42-46K VC, I will focus on Athleticism and key ratings

Also read the situation, 2 hand can usually be safe but if the defender's on your right then dunking with your left can work just as well. Or do what I do and always hold down for the flashy dunk lol

Good job grinding out on the app and getting well prepared for a game that will totally be worth the price when you finally do purchase. I know my 2k about to get some rest come Thursday night when I pick up Read Dead! I'll still grind on that app then, too.
