Personally I am fine with the player movement. I think it strikes a great balance between realism and control. Unloke Live, 2K has thousands of interacted animations, and IMO, there needs some leeway between control and absolute. Playing 2K19, I feel more control than ever in the past, most contextual animations have been scrapped, and if a bit of sliding happens, to make this happen, so be it. Every play in 2K can look new and exciting. That's what I love.

The sliders are for people who do have a problem with the issues I mentioned, they wont be for everybody. And, the skating/sliding and floating that occurs is clearly a bigger problem for some other people in this thread than it is for you, and that's cool as well.
I personally like NBA Lives gameplay this year, and I like it out of the box default. I've made numerous gameplay videos of it that people really enjoyed. They are headed in the right direction, but they still have a lot of room for improvement (which is a good thing). More depth, more NBA content, and some more gameplay tweaks, and they will continue to improve and gain new players.
2K also has room for improvement ( with a lot of items that hace been mentioned in this thread) And I actually prefer the gameplay of Live 19 default over 2K19 default. But the beauty of sliders is, we can correct some of the things we take issue with. That's what the sliders here are for.Last edited by RetroDee4Three; 09-21-2018, 09:21 PM.Comment

That's good, I'm glad you are happy with the out of the box default product.

Re: Player Movement - Lets have a serious discussion
There's a thread in the sliders forum about player "glue". I think this is also somewhat similar. Might be worth continuing all this over there is we're going to tweak sliders.
Messing with the movement sliders seems to really make a good difference in the overall feel of the game. There isn't enough difference between fast and slow, and someone over there suggested a setting of 85/30 for speed, and 100/30 for acceleration. I gave it a go and IMO it's very nice. Players are no longer "glued" together and it feels like a new game now.Steam: BahnzoComment
