I hope that they leave it be as is and not change anything on to our MLO, PNO and other offline modes overall.

Is your teammate actual good (moves the ball, attacks the paint, kicks out of double teams and only shoots wide open standing mid ranges) or did he run behind screens and shoot midrange fadeaways? (Which is statistically the worst shot in basketball, but the best shot in 2K)

I’m guessing the second if he put up 20 a game...

Haha broo chill man not sure what you're assuming not everyone cheese the game. I know how to play i dont need screens ill get open using jab steps and fakes. Get in the post and im a unselfish passer i avg 23ppg 4apg 2spg on 66fg% and 55 3pt%.

Played with a few people on here either on ps4(2k18&2k19) and on xbox(2k18)so they know my game

the shot contest is broken for all modes on all star and above difficulty, cpu or players shouldn’t always hit shots regardless of you playing great defense 90% of the time .

Shot contest only works if you jump, the hand up wasn’t effective at all

This has been a serious game changer for me this year. I'd guess at least half my points as a Two-Way Shot Creator have come from posting up this year. It feels awesome being able to punish smaller sharpshooting guards (my guy is 6'7" so he usually has a height advantage at SG)

My guy 6'8 SG so trust me theres lot of mismatches and i can play the 3 without any issue if theres a smaller teammate

2nd agree to that! Please don't start by saying shot contest is broken! Just show examples by replay and then devs will discuss about it. Because it's working for me. Is it going to be 100% effective no but you just need to be in the right position to be effective.

Geez, Mike and the team are not playing around with this concept of "balance" this year. They must have the word "BALANCE" written on a whiteboard somewhere in the studio for the entire development cycle.

Honestly if you want to become an Esport, then you need to get on your **** like this. You can't have glaring exploits in an esports game that is supposed to be competitive. It just brings down the reputation of your game.

Sorry not to dwell on anything but i repeat; beside i play/played for years, too.(That doesn't matter anyway.) You just get a feel it will be in just like you get that feel w/o looking at the meter in all of the previous 2ks that doesn't have meter; but here you know that it's 100% and it's in, it kills realism it kills the battle for a good rebounding position, it kills the transition game, it kills of all the unknown that real basketball has and creates so.

And It's not one true element because the game has too many TRUE basketball elements and the meter is not true to basketball.

The meter started in Some ny NBA 09 which was far and away not a Sim basketball game [emoji23]

From what I've seen so far in Park, it looks like "hands down" + "feet down" defense can now become a lightly contested shot if the defender's body is close to the shooter. I disagree with that approach to shot quality grading. I would grade that situation as open (but not wide open). To register a contest, the defender should have to put his hand up or jump before the shooter releases the X button.

My ideal system for shot contests would be:

• no defender nearby = wide open
  
  
• defender nearby but he has his hands down & feet down = open
  
  
• defender nearby but his contest is late &/or his hand is at or below the shooter's chest level when the ball leaves the shooter's hand = lightly contested
  
  
• defender's hand is up before the ball leaves the shooter's hand and is at or above the shooter's eye level = heavily contested

Lmao mike is catching heat on Twitter for the recent tuner. These kids don’t know what they want, I agree with them tho having your hands down should be an open shot.

That's not necessarily true. If you get your hand in the shooter's face, it should be effective, regardless of height.
