    Ehhh....we disagree there. Defenders dont sit and wait for the offensive player to balance their checkbook when a pump-fake doesn't work [emoji23]. They crowd them and are generally aggressive trying to poke/strip the ball away or by pressuring them. Defenders dont allow them to show the ball w/o consequence. A good example is Jimmy on Kawhi below:

    Counters are important in H2H. Balance over realism ALWAYS.

      Strategy simply has to matter more in H2H and the AI players should always follow our play-calls. Now does that mean they'll always make the play? NOPE. But if I play catch hedge there should be NO CHANCE of my defenders refusing to stay between the roller and the basket or trapping the ball-handler like below, for instance.

      Even more important? Navigating screens. With contested shots going down at a higher rate, going under a screen can be catastrophic. When we recognize shooters can't get open w/o help or diagnose another user's gameplan we should be REWARDED for it--not punished with AI that decides to freelance.

      CASE IN POINT: This guy's got all shooters in so we're going over the top of every screen...right? Wellllllll [emoji849]

      Literally the only time a defender went over the screen like I specified in the Coaching Menu the ENTIRE 4th quarter:

      While I could beat this guy with my eyes closed, defensive miscues by the AI kept the game close. This can't happen. Down three with on the last possession I knew he'd go 2-5 PNR because both are shooters. I have Embiid Stay Attached (which isn't in the timeout menu btw--we have to pause)

      While it was successful the sheer amount of head-scratching decisions by the AI players disregarding User playcalls mean that we're fighting a war on 2 fronts--when good coaching decisions should actually provide an advantage. These are the issues we sincerely need rectified next year in NBA 2K20. We shouldn't have to compete with the opponent AND mind-numbing decisions by AI defenders.

        From another thread....Some game features 2K20 sorely needs:

        1. Give users access to a Coaches Clipboard so we can finally call a play in a timeout and have it initiate as soon as we inbound the ball.

        2. The ability to leave a play on REPEAT. Meaning it will initiate every time down the floor unless you change it.

        3. The option to have my defenders go NO SWITCHING. This means that in many instances they'll go under screens to stay with their man--SO BE IT.

        4. PG Retrieve Ball - No more PGs sprinting downcourt, they'll come get the ball from the rebounder.

        5. Also not sure if this is a setting per se but PNO is a scaled down version of an NBA game--fouls have to be scaled as well so fouling has the proper downside. Teams should go into the penalty on the 3rd foul and players foul out on the 5th. We also need a graphic showing how close we are to the penalty.

          Please boost fouls in the game, I want for the feel of the game and the boxscore to be as close to reality as possible. We need fouls, amongst many other things already mentioned in this thread.

            I would love a carry over save feature for myleague. That would give the draft classes so much more meaning. That way I could always keep my franchise going into future 2k games. Just like MLB the show.

              yah, i remember a few games i played this year in 2k19, over 50 points in the paint, nearly all of my fg attempted where right under the basket, i had 6 free throws.
