Re: Stop joining JRC if your record is under 40%
Oh! They really ARE being douchebags, lol!?
I play the mode, but I'm not a fan of it therefore I don't frequent the threads dedicated to it. This whole time I thought it was some glitch for people to leave the game without taking a loss or a way of VC farming, lol.Comment

Re: Stop joining JRC if your record is under 40%
Here's the thing and Keith01 is really doing a piss poor job of explaining it.
HIS idea is that a certain group of people need to stop playing despite him having a "winning" record. That's BS...people paid for the game, so they have the "right" to play it anyway they want. The problem is NOT the players (per se). It's the matchmaking process that 2K Sports have implemented. Fix the matchmaking and/or the availability of unranked parks then you fix the "problem" that's being presented in this thread.
Ideally, like ranked people will play against each, and people who REALLY suck or want to treat it like a videogame would naturally stick with the unranked parks/lobbies. People who like competition should be able get more "competent" teammates or opponents in the ranked lobbies or with better matchmaking. Right now, everyone (regardless of desire, skills, IQ, etc) are just grouped together to promote the purchase of VC.Comment

Re: Stop joining JRC if your record is under 40%
???? I efn love that. CPU teammates are usually better and then you can run the whole team yourself. If you're double teamed, someone's open. Sucks if the CPU can't shoot though, then you're screwed.Comment

Re: Stop joining JRC if your record is under 40%
Thing is ksutton is doing a piss poor job of trying to speak for other people. Just stop, tryna put words in my mouth. I already said the matchmaking & stuck-in-game system sucks, and it ain't getting better unless you gonna hold your breath for 2K. The reason they're not gonna fix matchmaking is it would take even LONGER to find a game. So the next best thing is these crackheads with a record of 100 wins and 800 losses need someone to mentally bop 'em upside the head and say fool go play something else! You suuck mayn!Comment

Re: Stop joining JRC if your record is under 40%
I've played with someone who spent the whole 2nd half getting offensive 3 seconds on purpose and did just enough on defense so his grade would hover around a D+, never low enough to get kicked. This was a pure glass who already had taken the most shots and did nothing but camp the paint in the first half
So yes. A lot of people are dicks in this gameComment

2K Sports CLEARLY have the ability to address matchmaking, because they did it in the PNO mode. Now, I'm going to give you benefit of the doubt that you're oblivious to that fact, since you're not a PNO player. However, given the context of MOST of your posts, you're pretty oblivious to real life in general.
Do you even think about what you're going to write before you post? In so many words, I'm basically agreeing with the premise of this thread. However, do you really BELIEVE that you're going to MORE successful trying to convince THOUSANDS of people who PAID for this game to stop playing it? You have a better chance of offering CONSTRUCTIVE feedback instead of offering some dumb *** idea that has zero chance of succeeding. I wish a MF'er would try to tell me to stop playing a game that I PAID for. I would troll the hell of that person every time I jumped online.Last edited by ksuttonjr76; 03-30-2019, 12:00 PM.Comment

Re: Stop joining JRC if your record is under 40%
I love it when everyone else quits. Came back from a 20 point deficit once. Most of the time, the AI plays better than most people...finding open spots, filling the lane correctly, actually playing defense.

The more and more you post, the more and more you come off as a complete idiot.

Well your bs REALLY would matter to me if I had any respect for your opinion or your ability to prove your case. You just make accusations like it means something. It doesn't. You fail at logic time and again. (Also reading comprehension). As usual, you're flat out wrong, and only attempt to counter someone's point (with nonsense) for the sake of it.
1) You're a PNO player 90% of the time. Your opinion when it comes to pro-am is pretty much useless.
2) 2K19 has been out since Sept and we a) still can't backout asap b) matchmaking still is absolutely terrible. So what are you SMOKING where you think this will be fixed this year? Of course they have the "capability" but they don't have the will.
3) If I convince one bum like you (who probably has a 2-30 record or something) to stop polluting JRC, my job here is done.
People like me aren't the problem with the 2K community. It's the low iq trash (who I'm referring to in the OP) that keep polluting modes and never learn how to play. Yet they have the ego like they're Kobe or MJ. The fact that so many of you are defending these terrible players, makes me think you are exactly that player. niceLast edited by Keith01; 03-31-2019, 09:14 AM.Comment

Re: Stop joining JRC if your record is under 40%
I see a lot of these treads, too. Idk why so many peoplehave a hard time getting a squad. I've got friends I've ran with for years, so i may be the outlier by having a squad pretty much available every night.
But dang dude... You're telling me none of you have come across a decent player and sent them a friend request?
You never get friend requests when you're playing with randoms?
I get friend requests FROM THE OTHER TEAM sometimes! Lololol
I run with randoms a bit, too. I usually won't make it passed the 1st quarter with them.
But I'm 50 games above .500 right now. About 200-150 something like that. And I'm about 100 more losses than my friends, most of those are quits.
But I still get friend requests all the time. Think i have about 200 unanswered right now.
Your options are:
#1 Wait wait wait for friends
#2 Wait wait wait to hop in and play, yet backout 100x to avoid 30% win% bums.
#3 Wait wait wait for the musical-chair-mofos to pick a spot in Park
#4 Wait wait wait an eternity to rank up / grind
So when you're trying to do #4, look at your options. We do enough waiting without players who I see EVERY TIME in JRC that are like 30-150. Get out the online lobby and go practice. How is that fun to lose 7-8-9 out of 10 times?? And some are defending these types of players in this thread? Why? Because they ARE them. LOL.Comment

IMO, what people are taking issue with is the manner in which you conduct yourself when presenting your points.
From what I can see both here and in other threads, you often seem to overstate your points as fact mostly through sweeping generalizations, in an aggressive manner that at the very least appears to be designed to pre-emptively shut down any discourse before it happen.
When people do challenge your points, there is a tendency to very quickly attack the messenger in belligerent fashion, through insults or less direct shaming tactics which at times aren't even relevant to the point, then use this as causation to simply hand wave away their points, rather than debate them.
Also, for someone who complains about the ego of others, arguing from a position of authority, rather than a factual/logical position, as often as you do is pretty hypocritical.Last edited by MrWrestling3; 03-31-2019, 04:22 PM.Comment
