My opinion is that they had better add more than exhibition games. Live tried that and it was just disrespectful. Give the WNBA Season/Franchise Mode, MyPlayer, and the same options to play Streetball. Would be phenomenal and 2K would sell even more copies

So....do we blame EA NBA LIVE for starting all this? This is no different than adding old school or Euro teams.

In fact I actually wish that they do use more resources when they add teams like these. I'm pretty sure WNBA crowds sound a lot more different from the NBA one. Man...I would play those Euro league teams if they captured the crowd atmosphere.

I’m sure a few cavemen will beat their chest and claim only 2% or something want to use this but that isn’t true. At all. Hopefully they give this a fully feature Franchise and for those that want it it’s their for those that don’t they don’t need to play it.

Just one off games will be pointless

If 2K's WNBA component doesn't have at least a season mode, doubt I'd play it. I already have NBA Live's WNBA...  I would have engaged the WNBA as a season on NBA Live after the real NBA Finals ended (just to fill in the Summer gap). Just making it exhibition just doesn't make sense. Makes me think EA or NBA Live could have added season mode but want to WITHHOLD features to include and hype in next iteration of game.

It's about time to add them into the game. Now I'll need for them to be available for some ranked h2h games.

Matter of fact: they should have made Candace Parker or Britney Griner a cover athlete for the standard edition of 2K20.

This here. The big issue will be if they cripple females compared to Male counterparts though. While I understand the argument(at the same workout levels, I lost about 80% of my muscle mass when I started transition), the ability to make women in the park will be negated if they can't be effective.

Trust me, I'm very hype to be able to actually be myself in a game, just want it done right.

They better get the body type right.

I understand 2K, girls play games in this era, so it covers another part of the market and it opens Park for them.

But as an offline player, i dont give a **** about this mode.
Honestly, we saw how they covered (and gave up) Euroleague, i dont expect more from with WNBA mode.

The only positive point as a PC player : it gives modders more slots for making retro rosters.

I have this in NBA live but it's useless because you can't play a season, so unless you can, I don't see the point. What I really want are FIBA teams.

Incredibly dumb. You're gonna eat up a bunch of development time for the WNBA? I mean seriously, the WNBA probably averages less that a few hundred thousand views for their games. I'll never understand why these gaming companies feel the need to virtue signal and destroy their product in the process.

I hope this means we will have a full functioning G league, I would rather have that first. But anyway, as long as the WNBA is implemented right(better than NBA Live) then I'm on board.

What I would like to see is:

Ability to play with them in the NBA Myleague, by being apart of the off season tasks with full trades, edit draft classes, player creation, the works. And it would be cool if they can retire and become an NBA head/assistant coach.

Since Live did it 2K was gonna do it, I think all of us knew that. It's cool though. I personally have no interest in the WNBA, so I won't play it, but complaining that 2K "wasted time" putting development time into this is just stupid. They make the game, you buy it if you want to. They don't have any obligation to make it so that everyone buys each year. It's our choice.
