I would be curious to see how it would work with Franchise and MyLeague given only 12 teams in the league. Maybe similar to MyGM where you have expansion and you can expand the number of teams to more than 12?

Would surely make an interesting MYGM The next chapter story.

Your myplayer becomes the GM of a New WNBA team

You then get the option to recruit , draft and sign WNBA players hoping to build a champion. That’s something that would be pretty fun

I want no part of the WNBA.

It's a turnoff for me. With a yearly release that means less time put into the game modes that I enjoy.

WNBA is not the NBA. I am buying a NBA game. Would be like buying a Nascar racing game and having boat races added.

WNBA, just like the G-League does, pretty much falls under the NBA umbrella...if you don’t like the fact they want associated brands in video games regarding their product, you can take it up with them. Otherwise, shut up, buy the game and play or the door is wide open for you anyone else that doesn’t like it to gtfo.

just a waste of time and resources...they should have scaned more nba faces and do more animations, and improvements in online my league etc etc....

It probably doesn't take up that many resources even since they've probably been working on it longer than a year.

Anyway, good little addition that a lot of people will be excited to use. Even if I only play with them here and there, it’ll still be cool to ball out with some of my favorite female players. Kudos 2K for their inclusion!

I actually bout NBA Live the last 2 years, only for the WNBA. I'm excited to have it added to 2k, since I greatly prefer it's gameplay. Now I only need 1 game to play both leagues. Rather than 1 game for each league.

Like...if it's just not a mode that interests someone too much, that's cool. And a decent amount of the responses here are from people like that (myself included). But I've also never, ever played a MyPlayer career. I never used the Euroleague teams. I don't even load up 85% of the classic teams that are available...but I’m glad those other options are or were there, because I know I’m not the only type of person who games.

Too many guys out there still attached to the perception that gaming is a strictly male thing and that if we’re not receiving 100% of the attention that it’s a travesty. There’s enough game to go around.

Not trying to devolve this thing into purely a political conversation but....Just because times change doesn't mean they always change for the better. I think history has shown us that over and over. Me personally, I'll never believe that inclusivity is more important than things like freedom, merit, creativity, etc. All have suffered under this corporatist view of "equality" and in western culture we're no doubt closer today to an authoritarian nightmare than we were, just 20 years ago when a good portion of the population wasn't brain washed into thinking everything has to arbitrarily be equal. I don't think anybody can argue we got better quality games back then and that was because the focus was on creating great games and not trying to placate every social group on the planet.

As I said, the WNBA is an NBA product.

Whether you like that or not is your own issue. It's not an inclusive thing, it's literally their product and business.

If you've never owned one before I wouldn't expect you to understand.

You can't be a stubborn old mule I'm business. Hopefully it's a principle you learn one day.
