It appears that 2k has made a deal with the devil, by having the derelicts from youtube and twitter market their game. Apparently, the team isn't aware that the youtube "influencers" sole purpose is to exploit the game and in turn, profit from it. This is executed by making videos such as "OP build", you get the picture. These people have to keep this relationship alive, in order to continue their schtick. They also do not want anything new or remotely resembling a realistic basketball sim.

I believe they need to completely open up the whole mycareer and just allow these clowns to basically whatever they want to do; with a very few minor limitations.
    Well said..

Yes, the problem is two-fold. How does this decision get made so quickly, with no testing, and no validation with the rest of the development team? Also, the lack of quality of source that the complaints come from. You could argue that the youtubers and other retrogrades don't know how to improve the game, but the most concerning thing is their desire to use exploits/advantages and they are in direct conflict with the actual developers, with regards to how the game should move forward.

Czar has mentioned multiple times within his recent streams, that he was very happy with the changes that were made. I think he was genuinely excited about it and expressed concern about patches and tweaks. This is brought up every year, but he's mentioned it several times.

I find it worrisome as well, you quite literally have a situation where people on Twitter are complaining that Rookie is too hard.

I would also say that so far the test sample is far too small to be contemplating such large changes....for most this is literally just their initial gut reaction,it needs at least a week or two for people to get used to the game before feedback starts to become useful.

Also, while feedback is nice, you have to A) Realize that a few dudes on Youtube and a handful folks on social media is not necessarily indicative of the entire fan base, it is just the people with the loudest voices and B) Understand the difference between good feedback and upset players seeing Twitter as basically an open line to 2K then using it vent their frustrations.

I'm pretty sure if you let the majority of Twitter dudes 100% have their way they would average a quadruple triple on HoF with no effort at all so they could brag about some false level of "skill" they possess.

If that's what 2K to make a couple extra bucks that's up to them; just do me a favor and let me know ahead of time so I can move on to a different game instead of being continually disappointed at the lack of easily accessible sim elements outside of a couple modes.

I was ready to post the same thing. How much of a wussie do you have to be or how much stick skills you DON'T have to complain about the rookie setting? I can understand if it was a "beyond a shadow of doubt" gameplay glitch, but speed boosting and stamina??? Wow...really?

Yeah... I'll be honest, I LIKE that I'm not winning consistently on Rookie. I can tell it's easier but I can also tell that I have Lowry, FVV and Powell going against a stacked Warrior back court. I'm getting my points up almost wherever I play, but yeah it is a little difficult and I feel like that's the way it should be.

Same here, as a Lockdown/Glass Cleaner PF I still managed 11 or 12 points, but it was all off of putbacks or defensive errors.I had to actually look for good opportunities that I knew I could convert on.

And just like that, I would like to welcome Lockdowns to the realm of irrelevancy.

They need to make a "Twitter mode". can't call it arcade because they would be ashamed to play it but let them have their stupid nonsense cheese basketball game and let the rest of us have the option to play the way the demo is made now ...legit

I was wondering where the defensive badge that dropped offensive badge tiers was located.

2K is playing with fire here imo. This could get very ugly once people online start getting better at the game and the HOF badges start popping up.
