Rubbish.
This whole Notion of having the big man standing in te corner is rubbish. That’s for people who have no ball iq

I post up on the high or low block, on the weak side.
The post up animation usually makes the opposing center sticking on to you, clearing up the lane. He’ll usually be too late to come off you to contest, and if he does, the driver can give me the ball for an easy dunk.
I’m a 7”2 andahalf (metric system) with max wingspan. I dropstep or do hooks all game long.
Way more versatile and useful than just another tall cornerpost.
And with 91 interior defence, length and wingspan and 12 defence badgepoints, i’m also good enough on the defensive side.

I’m so tired of people thinking bigs are just there to grab rebounds, set screens or stand in the ****ing corner all game.

Meh. I'd rather run with a Center who can space the floor. It just makes the offense that much more better and versatile IMO. Pick and Pop and Pick and Roll are super effective with a build that can do a little bit of both. Most inside Centers just camp in the paint the entire game. It's super annoying.

That’s not a flaw of the build, but of the guy handling the sticks.

I understand the 3 and D Center is “ideal” from a Pro-Am perspective because the “best” teams run 5 out. It is mind numbingly boring though and doesn’t resemble real basketball at all. If it weren’t for the input lag online, it probably wouldn’t be nearly as effective either.

I run a traditional rim running build and yes, oftentimes my matchup camps the paint. That said, it basically leaves me unmolested to run around setting HoF screens while the defenders are getting zero help. I mean, if you’re happy sitting in the corner taking 3 or 4 shots a game and doing essentially nothing else for offensive sets, more power to you. I would just play a different game.

I personally would like both. A big tradition C who rims run and sets screens and a PF who can stretch the floor. And I think a stretch 4 or 5 can also get out there and set picks, on-ball and off-ball. For me anyway, as a SG, I’d want the paint with as little clutter as possible. But I also prefer a lot of off ball movement so I wouldn’t want to just have the big sit in the corner

Sure you’ll win a few more games with it, but enjoy spending every damn game in the corner.


This whole 5 out business is why the 2k league is never going to go anywhere.
Who even wants to watch that boring ****?

In a few years the NBA will get tired of dumping money into it and it will just die.

Most of all it break downs to broken gameplay mechanics . Why bother feeding post scoring big to post to try score over other big with hof badges if u can just hop into paint with playmaking slasher for an easy uncontested layup/dunk or speed boost dribble around screen for open limitless range threes that guarantee 100% scoring given favorable situation.

If 2k refuse to make gameplay based on basketball principles like no 100% consistent shooting and no auto-pilot slashing/dribbling boosted by badges then it'll always be boring , no brain required gameplay.

Yeah and 5 outboringball is going to be here to stay as long as they restrict the builds the way they do. The star guards in the league are easier to replicate than the star big men. People can play closer to Stephen Curry than they can Joel Embiid. If it was more balanced, I think you'd see way more Jokics and Embiids and Towns and whatever, but big men feel more limited. I know there are post move badges and whatever but the guys I listed are far more well rounded than any created big man could be.

I've already tried making the same player from the same myplayer build file but to no avail
I'm not sure what happened, but when I tried making a 3 and D big man, I named it Chris Bosh, which changed my guard's name to chris bosh, since everybody used to have no name.............problem is my guard is a dwyane wade lookalike that wears #3 for the Heat (Since it's not retired yet officially) but has Bosh on his jersey lol. Help!!

I think you should be able to just straight up make a new career file with a new name and it should change them all

in my opnion you should not make it with that rating even if you have it on HOF and someone has dimer on HOF along with Hotzone Hunter on HOF.

BUT knowing 2K you will most likely green it at a high rate.

last year i was shooting over 50% from the corner with silver corner specialist and a 57 orso rating.

had games where i went 8/8 on my lock lol

ideally you want both.

catch and shoot is from everywhere where corner is only from the corner.
