Official 2k20 MyPlayer Build Thread.

Take a look at the 2-Way Playmaker (Yellow + Red pie chart). It's one of the most all around builds in the game at any position. PG gets contact dunks and 95 speed. Plus I think 72? three with short arms and at least 10 shooting badges.

Didn't post position, playing SG 6'5"..would that matter?

I think 6’5 SG would be fine. I made a player 6’7 SF with that pie and he’s still able to get 85 driving dunks, enough for contact dunks and mid-80 driving layup. I was able to get 10 shooting badges, 10 finishing, 10 playmaking and 17 defensive badge upgrades. I think that’s more than enough to be all around. And at 6’5 you’ll be a lot faster than the guy I made.

I think 6’5 SG would be fine. I made a player 6’7 SF with that pie and he’s still able to get 85 driving dunks, enough for contact dunks and mid-80 driving layup. I was able to get 10 shooting badges, 10 finishing, 10 playmaking and 17 defensive badge upgrades. I think that’s more than enough to be all around. And at 6’5 you’ll be a lot faster than the guy I made.

I got a 6'8" sf with that pie ... you'll get the contact dunk around 98/99 ovr correct?

Is moving truck good for a center (paint beast) or would post move lockdown HoF be enough? If so what level do you think it should be on? I've just finished grinding my defensive badges but only have 25 points to spend

Depends on what you play, the postgame is nonexistent in rec and the same holds more or less for park. So I wouldnt invest too much in it for the occasional post up youll face. Just be aware that moving truck is the counter for backdown punisher and post move lockdown is for defending against the actual post moves (dropstep etc.).

Yup. I think pro contact dunks at 97, elite at 98

Nope, I went 6'8/240 pure red max wing, 16 def badges atm, gets stronger and stronger. Interceptor is nasty...

I have a Zion / Rodman build that I love 6’8 maxed out defense

After starting out 2k20 with a 6'5 176lbs Two Way Slashing Playmaker then a 6'7 255lbs Mid Range Playmaker i think I've finally settled on my main build

Anyone have any idea on which pie chart is T-Mac? The playmaker primary allows you to have 70 ball control at 6'8", but the badges are a little weaker.

The shooting/slashing pie chart only allows you to get 70 ball control at 6'7" but has REALLY good badges. You can get 67 ball control and 70 ball control at 98 overall, but Idk if you can equip animations based on the overall boost.

You can equip the animations based on the overall boost . My ball handling is 70 at 98. It’s better but You still won’t be a ball handler like Tmac.

You want the pie chart with the slashing and shooting. The build is called a Floor-spacing slasher.

Yeah that's kind of my point. To go 6'8" I have to give up a lot.
