Re: Official 2k20 MyPlayer Build Thread.
If the other teams were smart, they should be posting up my little *** in the paint, lol. The only time I get posted up on is when I get caught on a mismatch due to a switch. Even then, the bigs pump fake so d*mn much that they give me enough opportunities to time the steal before they finally go up.
EDIT: Trying to watch different videos, but most of them are about setting up builds where you can "get yours", shoot 3's, or dunking on someone.Last edited by ksuttonjr76; 02-03-2020, 02:15 PM.Comment

Re: Official 2k20 MyPlayer Build Thread.
Need help...
How do you unlock the Gym Rat Badge? Some articles say at 92 Overall. I know you have to get to Superstar as your rep to unlock it. However, there seems to be some confusion to how many regular season games you have to play to unlock it via winning the Championship.
I might have to request a trade to a contender, because damn Giannis got hurt for the season and that damn team SUCKS without him. Actually, it's been hurting my badge grind for playmaking, since no one can buy a bucket.
Also, is there a way to change your takeover without starting a brand new MyCareer game? Sorry for these questions so late in the game cycle. I'm trying to 100% finetune my build to my liking. I had the Lockdown takeover, but now I want to switch it to Playmaking. Lastly, is 59 Badge points a lot?Last edited by ksuttonjr76; 02-04-2020, 12:54 PM.Comment

Seems like 59 is high, but it all depends on what you get HOF.Comment

Re: Official 2k20 MyPlayer Build Thread.
6'7 SF is still the GOAT build. Consistently getting 20 points, over 10 rebounds, 6-7 assists from the break and passing out of double teams, and roughly 3-4 steals with 4-5 blocks to boot.
Can shoot the corner/wing threes and finish over 7'3s.
Couldn't be happier with this build.

Re: Official 2k20 MyPlayer Build Thread.
Only at 97 again due to playing with randoms. But when I'm a 98 i get all the contacts and a 65 three. Boosting puts me at a 70.
I only have Quick Draw Silver and Bronze range extender.Attached FilesComment

Scratch that... Just lost my 97 because i got DCed on the middle of a REC game. 97.4 to a 96 because i got DCed. I almost had a Triple Double in a loss, but i was hoping to only get a 96.0 or so.Comment

Re: Official 2k20 MyPlayer Build Thread.
Been having a lot of fun with my Playmaking Glass Cleaner recently. 12/1/18/19. It's a very good randoms build. I've got 70 mid range so I can keep the defense honest, but when I get the ball, what I do depends on my teammates. Do I trust them? I pass it up the court. If not? I can be a one man fast break.Comment

Re: Official 2k20 MyPlayer Build Thread.
I'm finding I enjoy being the garbage man more than the primary scorer. If I could go back, I'd probably change it to where I could at least 3 shooting badges, but it's a solid build that's pretty flexible.Comment

Damn. I knew this day would eventually come [emoji23]. I enjoy playing this mode more than PNO. Everytime I get a new badge upgrade, my mouth starts watering at the thought this build is going to be a beast in my hands, lol. Howardphillips214, get ready to fight me on the best MyPlayer build next year.

Re: Official 2k20 MyPlayer Build Thread.
Yeah i have one of those. I prefer my SF to my PG tho.
He's 6'7 instead of 6'5. I get all the driving contacts at 98 OVR, i get a three rating of 65 as well. Defensively I'm slightly less effective laterally, but my size and length makes a bigger difference. I can board with the best of them, and i get more blocks than most Centers. With 90s in vertical, off ball speed, and both rebounding and blocks, this guy is a better Daymond. I should have made him a little heavier at a 240-250 range instead of 220. I also think a bit more strength would have helped instead of 70.
But he's a really fun build.
My PG is better in career, my SF is better for online.Comment
