You clearly did not read carefully or you wouldn't have tried to make that argument.

I replaced young role players with other young role players that I prefer more -- Josh Richardson, Zhaire Smith, Matisse Thybulle, and Kris Dunn. I simply prefer Dunn to Morris, and would rather have more scoring at the backup 4 spot, hence the trade of Grant which opens up minutes for Michael Porter Jr.

By the time the young guards start to develop in Cleveland, Love will be in decline. Moving him opens up +100 million in expiring contracts for the Cavs so they can acquire younger pieces in free agency that better fit their timeline. I have a young team in Denver, but they are also in position where they can compete, so I feel comfortable taking on Paul and Love to help push that needle a little bit further.
Not untrue exactly. Just hyperbole/ad absurdum/whatever you want to call it.

Anyway, it's your game dude. Do whatever you want. I just don't get it when people start a franchise mode and then completely wipe out everything that the team actually did in the most recent off season. Might as well just fantasy draft.

More hyperbole. The only player the Nuggets acquired this offseason that I'm moving on from is Jerami Grant.

The Nuggets also resigned Paul Millsap this offseason.

The Sixers traded for Josh Richardson and drafted Matthis Tybulle this offseason.

The Love extension is so recent it might as well count as the offseason for the purposes of this discussion.

Think I'm gonna start off with the Suns and try and turn Booker and Ayton into an elite core, and try sneak into the playoffs.

I want to start an 82 game season and actually play every game, so doing so with a fun young team like the Suns will be a great way to play it through.

I'll sim to playoffs with teams like the Lakers, Bucks and 76ers and fight my way through the bracket and get some chips, but this'll likely be once the draft classes are a lil more refined.

I'm also looking for a MLO with a shorter schedule where people play regularly to get through seasons and you can trade players.

Millsap didn't re-sign. The Nuggets exercised the team option that already existed in his contract that he signed back in 2017.

Just because the 76ers traded for a player and made a draft pick doesn't mean that they can't trade those players. Players who have been traded for have been traded again, and players who were drafted have been traded. It's not like this is unheard of.

The Love extension was in July 2018, which is most definitely not this past offseason (it was the offseason before that), so no, it counts as 2018 offseason.

I don't know what your ultimate goal is, but so far I have pointed out multiple inaccuracies in multiple comments that you have made so far. I'm really starting to think that you are just trolling.

Imagine thinking thinking Love and Jokic would work defensively as a front court all the while trading for an old CP3 lol.

I remember this guy making a thread 4-5 years ago when the Warriors were on the up. Traded Dwight and Love to the Warriors w/o trading Steph or Klay in 2013.

There's no chance any of these trades would happen in real life either. Like none. Not sure how important realism is for you...

Love is better defensively than people think. It's when he's asked to rim protect that he's terrible, like when the Cavs played him at center. CP3's game translates well into older age.

It's been a long time but I'm pretty sure in the Warriors franchise you are talking about Dwight was a free agent signing, not a trade acquisition.

Not gonna lie my MyLeague itch just hasn’t been there since like 2K16 but now with the Rockets having the best jerseys of my lifetime (will always be partial to the pinstripe, shoutout to The Franchise) and a great clean court, I’m finally going to be back into it full force. Been a pain honestly, trying to create/find decent jerseys for us and either keep or edit the court to something I like as I’m big on details. Some fantasy drafts of the current league will definitely happen as well as a run with the current roster. Will try to pair Trae Young with a current superstar in one of those fantasy drafts.

Re: What are your 2K20 MyLeague/MyGM plans?

I love picking up and coming teams and get them to the NBA title but only when I already have a contender team to do so, so it use to take at least 3 seasons with each one. Last year I played on Superstar and was really challenging for me, so I expect to continue in that level in 2k20...

                        I plan to play with:

                        West:
                        - Memphis Grizzlies
                        - Phoenix Suns
                        - New Orleans Pelicans
                        - Sacramento Kings
                        East:
                        - Atlanta Hawks
                        - Orlando Magic
                        - Chicago Bulls
                        - New York Knicks

                        Cheers! ;-)

                          Same as always for me..

First, I spend a few weeks doing free QA testing for 2k, including testing what CBA rules work, don't work, are excluded, or implemented incorrectly. Depending on how disheartening the bugs are determines when I start my offline MyLeague.

Lol but eventually I'll run a 30 team league where I really don't focus on any one particular team. I enjoy controling the league wide movement not only in the offseason but during the season as well. I also enjoy playing with different teams. One of the reasons I wish there was an option in MLO to control multiple teams, at least as a commish. Down the road in year 3 usually I'll add 2 expansion teams, one being Seattle and the other usually being Las Vegas. If that's the case with both being out west I'll move either New Orleans or Minnesota to the east.

I play until I run out of real prospects to make for draft classes, so usually only about 5 years.

All I want to do is do an all 30 team MyLeague. I'm back to playing 2K after 2K16 lol.

Hornets: Get rid of bad contracts for picks and young pieces. (Batum, Rozier, Williams, Biyombo, Zeller, MKG all gotta go away). This team literally needs everything. Really would be fun to figure out this team on the fly. Maybe try and trade for DSJ from the Knicks?

                              Brooklyn: Sign Melo damn it
