Quick question for y’all.

As someone who spends a good chunk of their time playing myleague, do you guys think it’s worth buying 2k20 for the myleague experience, or is it pretty much the same as 2k19?

Kind of getting sick of buying practically the same exact game every year and wanna know if this ones actually worth buying

After 2K decided to make MYGM online with a silly Leaderboard and cut out customization i play ...well nothing? lol

Haven’t played myleague in a while. Did they take out the injury and draft class quality sliders? I can’t find them anywhere.

Nope you can find them during your setup of the game itself.

On another topic... what's the general feeling here about 2k having absolutely slaughtered the MyGM mode after they nearly killed it in 2k18 by forcing us to play a ****ty story and not being able to use custom rosters? You can't adjust quarter time, every action now takes AP, you need "standing" with certain staff members to even access certain option of managing your team. (Haven't heard that one in the real world yet:

"No Mr Morrey you can not enter the scouting facility or look at our scouting intel since the new head of scouts you have just hired doesn't trust you enough. What is that? How to gain trust? You see you have a limited number of Action Points per day, once you have spent them security will escort you out of the building and prohibit you from entering any Rockets facilities until you have gained more AP. You can use those AP to increase your standing with the head scout. Like say use 1 AP to buy him a Gatorade which increases his trust by 5. Once you have 100% standing with him you can then access the scout intel. What do you say? Head to the training facility to check on individual players? I'm afraid I can't let you do that sir, you see the new trainer you hired doesn't trust you enough to let you enter the facility...")

Just... wow.

And of course: No custom rosters, no changing of quarter length, no changing of injury, no nothing. This hurts so bad.

I will be doing a full 30 team control, so I can monitor trades and free agent signings based off the last few years, as well as contract sliders so that someone like Demarcus Cousins (player type) will take a close to minimum deal so they don't stay a free agent. Make sure teams play like the actual teams they are in real life

I will have emphasis on the Jazz (hometown team) and the moves they made and the Knicks (bring a championship to NYC, plus I love MSG) I will set up the coaches and the rotations on real life then watch both teams play full games like a GM would for the full 82 game season.

If MyLeague is the be all end all then I'd suggest waiting or skipping 2K20. I'm loving the game and gameplay. MyLeague is pretty much the same, though. I have played about a dozen or so 5 min qtr games. I have noticed that there are some small new additions. The game intros are varied; sometimes it starts with the national anthem. Other times it's the players arriving to the arena dressed in express. Big games get the pregame show, for what it's worth. Also, they actually highlight the rookie of the year race in game and preview potential dunk contest contestants. There's some new stuff but it looks and feels largely the same. That isnt a bad thing to me, but for you it may not be worth it.

right now is not worth still have the same bugs with progression tendencies and bad draft class generation, the only thing you can notice is the new simulation slider to get custom stats but that it and this moment is unplayable after 2 seasons cause there a big bug with player option contracts and the cpu will decide for you for team etc due the list is blank for all league

I'm still waiting on opening day but with the Team Options glitch being a thing, if it isn't fixed, I might just do a 30 team control season alongside the real NBA season. I can decide which games to watch, make trades along with what's happening in the real NBA, etc.

Still don't know for sure though, can't wait til the season starts.

Just now starting am expansion franchise in Pittsburgh. The pittsburg power. Keep the traditional black and gold as well as local advets and re make ppg pants arena as home court. And just to keep balance to the project i always include a western conference expansion and decided to bring back the seattle supersonics

I'm going to roll with my Celtics again after not being able to get them a championship in 2K19. I'm going to hold off to closer to the season starts to wait on rosters, draft classes and hopefully a patch or two to clear up some bugs.

In the meantime, I'll be creating three draft classes of my own, each composed of a mixture of guys I play with IRL but boosted a bit (both height, skill and age wise ), fictional players from tv/movies and some of my real life NBA (non-star) players who will be getting a second chance at the NBA in the current era. The three draft classes will be a 80's, 90's and 2000's version.

So like the 80's version will have some of the oldest players who I've played with IRL (basically guys who are 40+), guys like Scott Howard (from Teen Wolf) and real players like Rex Chapman, Spud Webb, and Manute Bol. For the real players, I made the stipulation that it can't be an All-Star, any major award winner, or anyone who is a coach now.

My buddy and I usually do a fanasty draft with two teams from the same division so we can play against each other 4 times and year and maybe in the playoffs. Then go through the whole offseason and over again. After just play Inglis quick games for years, this is a lot more fun.

We usually do a historic draft every few years and add a few stars to the league. But what I’m curious about is there any way or some sort of engine that lets you create a custom class? Like where I could have rookie Kobe, McGrady, Shaq, Barkley all in class? Any info on how to do this if anyone that can would be awesome.
