I'm not sure I *hate* it. Having eight frequently called plays at my fingertips is awesome, but I do with the full interface was easier.

Agree mbless, I think in my opinion it would help if you could do it quicker. To me there's no difference between tapping L1 and having to tap L1, R1 quickly, but you actually have to wait that extra moment for the first screen to appear. This may not seem like a huge difference but if I do it too quickly the game doesn't recognize the R1 input and I have to hit it again.Die hard Heat and Dolphins fan since '89

Sam i'd really like to know what the key to shooting is this year. Wide open shots just aren't falling at a high rate. Are there any new keys to shooting this year?Lineup:

Are these tutorials still relevant with the new patch or did they change the mechanics? Thanks for all the help, I'm going to use your tutorials to actually become good at the game this year lol51 & 55

I dont know if this has been mentioned but you can challenge a call by pressing the timeout button as the call is being made.Comment

Is there a way to change which positional plays show for each player?

Any how-to on the read and react defense?
I see the arrow pop up and I’ve been using the right stick to flick which direction they’re going.
Have had good success cutting people off and poking the ball lose as the right stick is also tied to steal attempts but just wondering if this is the correct way to do this or am I missing anything?

How effective this is depends on the player's lateral quickness and my ability to watch the player movement following the indicator, and react accordingly. And I'll be the first to admit I am not perfect when reading what the ballhandler's doing..

Re: NBA 2K20 Teach Me How to Thread: Tips, Mechanics, Defense, + Plays
Does anybody know if there is an option to send someone to high post? For example you can choose "post up" from the quick plays, or positional plays, but is there a way to make a guy post high out on the wing or elbow? Similar to how we often see LeBron initiate post ups from the mid-range area on the floor?
I know various sets probably end with a player catching the ball in that spot, but I'm more so talking about just a quick post up, like the regular post up option only extended.Comment

Also is there a way to call for a switch? I know I can change my defensive setting to switch, but say I'm guarding someone and a screen comes, can I call out a switch for just that one instance?Comment
