Did have to up CPU shooting like 2 ticks. I am fine making CPU earn, but good shooters should make me pay when left openComment

Re: NBA 2K20 Available Now on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, Post Impressions Here
I changed Driving contact shot frequency down to 1 and the game opened up and is much more enjoyable.
There to many chase down blocks and 2 man quasi scripted contact layup animations. This was allowing the cpu to block and cause me to miss to many layups and at the same time limit my defense and allow them to make to many layups.
Adjusting that 1 slider has made this an excellent release.Comment

Even after the update and playing on HOF it is too easy to blow by the defender for a easy layup! Cmon 2k where's the CPU logic and defense...I expect this on rookie but HOF unacceptable.Comment

I put drive contact slider at 0 for both sides. Alabamarob wasn't lying, it opens up soooooooooooo much. Players are more free, you see momentum being way heavier now. So if you get faked out, you going HARD in the wrong direction before you can recover. I like it. No I LOVE IT. Players are no longer stuck together like magnets. You see screens are way more effective too because the defender no longer is magnetically pulled to the person. So to me anyway recovery speed is way more natural. If you get beat, you get beat.Comment

Re: NBA 2K20 Available Now on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, Post Impressions Here
In my experience, I've seen good defenders prevent the drives as they should, but everyone else can be burned if out of position (especially poor defenders+bigs). It's definitely not like how 2K18 was. I think it's balanced where it is and would be really disappointed if we went back to 2K19 level of defense where even mediocre/poor defenders can bump/stonewall all day and play well beyond their capabilities when that just isn't the case with today's NBA and what you see in the real games.Comment

I always put the body up sensitivity slider at 0. I have drive contact at 0 but Inside contact at 100. Inside at 0 will cause too many uncontested layups, etc.Comment

Currently have inside contact, layup release, layup gather all at 100. I love it. Played a few games with it. Also have defensive rebounds at 0 and offensive rebounds at 100. Actually see a good amount of offensive rebounds now for teams that have good offensive rebounders. Before it was way too one sided. Use to be seeing 5 offensive rebounds and 34 defensive rebounds. Now it is more balanced.Comment

I’m not a slider guru but the sliders seem to have a significant impact on the game this year. I set help defense to 100 for CPU and HUM and the defensive rotations and overall movement was improved significantly.
I’m no slider expert but our slider gurus should really have a field day this year.
Also, SAm Pham reporting the defensive assignments finally work CONSISTENTLY. Great newsComment
