It took me a few days to get the hang of and timing of James harden, but once you do it’s special. You can replicate his lulls and pesky like style of play.

This on HOF and the computer does bite on your fakes, dribble moves, triple threat ect.

You need timing, stick skills and to be able to read and react quickly. I love that they get faked out, but they also recover in short order.

That escape dribble to stepback J in the second video was nasty. You could never do that seamlessly in previous 2K games.

Love the offline 5 vs 5 gameplay, the tempo is perfect and I can finally safely sag off guys who are not good from the three point line. Superstar difficulty is awesome.

But I have noticed that some teams have some weird tendencies. For example I have played against the Mavericks twice and both times Luka Doncic was their main man, like he should be. But... Porzingis is completely invisible and doesn't even get the ball. Boban Marjanovic was a monster, pulling down 15 and 18 rebounds respectively and running tirelessly back and forth, being the number two scoring option on the team.

Same goes for several other teams. Paul George is being ignored on the Clippers, John Collins on Hawks... The CPU just doesn't seem to use some players I would expect them to and it has nothing to do with my defense. Has anyone else noticed this?

If you're using the default roster it is definitely flawed, example scrimmaged the Lakers a couple times, I lay off Rondo from 3pt. range but he's hitting bettet than 50%. I check his ratings for 3pt. shooting, he's like an A-, are you KIDDING??😝 I think once the roster makers start dropping rosters the gameplay will be AWESOME. 😉

Random impressions after playing the Nuggets:

- Not sure if DaCzar needs to activate the season stuff, but Joker pretty much took a nap all game. I Wanted to see how they tuned him to be dominant in his own quirky way — It never happened.

- If you are a Russell Westbrook fan you are going to have a great time this year. His explosion feels perfect. He had a triple double and was the reason we killed the Nuggets. He was everywhere!

- 2K needs to figure out how to get the loose balls to be organic and not go back to the original offensive team majority of the time. This happens too much for the CPU, but also for the User.

- For simheads: The play fluidity is in a spectacular spot. Select a play and you don’t have to wait for it to initiate. That use to burn precious seconds off the clock for me.

Have you guys played with the update from today yet? Haven’t updated my system yet, but after I play some ball outside I’m going to get a few games in. I’m hoping it’s essentially the same.

how is the game overall in simulation point of view?

Everyone has their own skills and styles but I love it. Sliders are pretty good for me and my skill set. Get good results. And with some of the guys monkeying with MyLeague sum sliders I think everyone can be happy offline at least.

It's so smooth. And the shot blocks have a real oomph to them. Kleber blocks shots exactly like this IRL. Ill have to play with other players, but it almost looks like a sig blocking style.

[emoji38] Joker was completely lost on that first one. Straight up jumping at nothing. Love it. CPU definitely reacts to the offense, even on HOF.

Yes. I think this is whats contributing to the game feeling easier. The CPU really is more human like and it's great. Most years I get killed on default allstar; this year I'm over 50%. I may end up on superstar this year which is crazy for me. I'm one of those "the game is cheating!" folks, especially when the CPU makes a late comeback. It's actually kind of nice to see the CPU not greening shots late. It gives the game a more organic feel. I'd still like the option to disable it all together. But honestly, I kind of like it now. 2K20 is easily the best playing 2K this gen for me.

Their shooting percentages are on per with real life in my game. Mines is too for the most part considering the quality of shooters I load up with

I have been pleasantly surprised with shooting %'s on default superstar...had a couple game where both sides clipped 50% but alot of my games have been in the 40's for the most part and I'm still getting a feel for the game so my biggest poimt deficit has only been about 7 points since the game released, been havimg some epic battles against the AI.

Lowered Shot Distribution slider below 50

It gives shots to non stars in games which seems great until you look at FG percentages haha. Next game I will crank to 75 to see if it changes. Last Game I did have above 55 and Harden, Westbrook, Gordon took 75 percent of the shots

Now below 50

Ball is spreading around more

Also, Possessions per game lower will lead to a lot of shots being taken at the buzzer

Low amount of layups and close shots

Up mid range and 3’s. CPU will pass up layups to kick for 3. Just saying

I will not dare touch a slider until maybe around the end of the preseason lol. I know I'll be helping my buddy test some things with his annual set but I usually do a little personal set for my own pleasure[emoji41][emoji16]

So so so so sad....on sooooooo many levels. You don't have to do all that And-1 street ball to get a good look and score points but I guess coming from a person like me that actually played organized bball for year, it's hard for them to believe that good ball movement is the easiest way to score.

I challenge people to dothis today-



Go to my league and mess with sim sliders (it’s not the game sliders).



It very much affects game play. Trust me. This isn’t me just saying it. I know the values I have played with and get different results. Lower possessions per game and you will be playing a game like it’s college2k20.



I won’t say how much I heard the Kings too. Last game I played before I lowered they scored 110. They may not get to 70 this game.

Can u share what changes u have made and what they’ve affected in more detail?
