I agree with all that you said, but it is possible that he is just tired of social media, and got rid of it. Personally I dont get the fascination with all that social media crap, anyway, I have no use for it, so maybe Da Czar, just got sick and tired of it, and nothing more.

100% agree with the social media crap. We have one of the worst toxic communities on Twitter. Mike or Czar can't make one simple post without multiple replies about something not associated with their initial post smh.Comment

Re: No One is talking about Da_Czar leaving Twitter??
Haven't spoken to Czar since the game dropped. Based on talking points from the past few years it's safe to say he deactivated due to toxic community "feedback" (spam) and not due to any rift with 2K or anyone on the team.
He's never owed anyone anything. It's his personal Twitter, not a company Twitter.

He was in OGs stream talking some friendly smack the other day.
He probably needs a break from it all and everyone is entitled to that.

Re: No One is talking about Da_Czar leaving Twitter??
Yesterday Mike responded in a Twitter thread stating that the question being asked wasn't in his 'lane' to respond to. I replied that he should then forward it or direct us to the person(s) that it was their job; radio silence.
They're more than happy to Tweet for sales/marketing and rarely for actual in game questions and/or issues, and after all these years, is anyone really surprised that people have become fed up? For example how long have servers been an issue without a response or fix? Now, all Ronnie has to do is say 'hi' and here come hundreds of replies about fixing servers.
Remember last year's issue with dudes wearing the wrong uniform in REC that got patched? Never fixed and have already twice had an AI teammate with the wrong uniform.
Don't get me started on the things they said about 2k20 that weren't true.Last edited by Iasounis; 09-10-2019, 04:27 PM.PSN: KarlMarx24Comment

Re: No One is talking about Da_Czar leaving Twitter??
I can just imagine all the crap they get on there social media, because this younger generation has no respect for others. Now days these kids dont know how to be critical of issues with the game, without attacking those guys who work on the game.Everyone who exalts themselves will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted- Luke14-11

Re: No One is talking about Da_Czar leaving Twitter??
Am I the only one that seems something wrong with two rather significant gameplay changes within the first week of release? Like you work on a game for a year and then just change it at the drop of a hat like that?

Re: No One is talking about Da_Czar leaving Twitter??
Here’s the thing though. A dev streamed with us the other day asking for questions to answer. He was telling us some of our requests that made it into the game. Czar does multiple hour long tutes about the game and invites questions and feedback.Comment

It hasn’t changed significantly though.

Re: No One is talking about Da_Czar leaving Twitter??
This attitude is exactly what devs dont want to interact via social media. People on twitter treat every tweet like it's an emergency.
True, but nobody from 2k answers questions regularly; especially at release.

Re: No One is talking about Da_Czar leaving Twitter??
For the most part I don't tweet at them about the game. However, I do read and some pf the concerns voiced are the same as mine. As per gameplay and patches, I'm against them this early after release. Yes, I often shake my head when people complain that they're not gods at the game on day 1. It's a new game, the least we could do is try it for a few weeks before crying. My main gripe is the fact that they said a bunch of stuff leading up to release that were not true (re-spec, changing takeover, more pie charts).
Not only were these things said, but whatever prompted change wasn't communicated properly or with any sort of responsibility taken by 2k. Park and most cosmetic stuff doesn't really bother me, but it should be changed every year either way. It just leaves a sour taste, being sold on one thing, and getting another without any communication.
FWIW, I do appreciate DaCzar and have watched and followed him since before he was employed by 2k. For me it not him, it's 2k. He's just one of the few that we have access to, so he, like Mike Wang, should direct all inquiries to their proper channels.Last edited by Iasounis; 09-10-2019, 05:05 PM.PSN: KarlMarx24Comment

That's the thing that bugs me about Twitter gamers in general. Gamers want these in-depth analysis from the devs to explain every single thing that happens with the game. I see the same BS comments on the NBA Live forum. Where is it written that gamers are entitled to every single piece of information regarding the development of a video game? Sometimes, it's not a gamer's damn business to know what's happening all the time. Would it make you happy if they told you that the company was too cheap to buy a new servers?
Hell...you can see how Twitter toxicity wears down on Ronnie at times.Last edited by ksuttonjr76; 09-10-2019, 05:56 PM.Comment

Re: No One is talking about Da_Czar leaving Twitter??
I'm sorry, but Czar and Mike have always been good about answering questions. Do they the answer 100% of questions? No, they don't. However, I'm not going to let you tell that lie like they don't absolutely answer no questions at all. They just don't answer the questions that you want an answers to nor give you the in-depth information that you're looking for. There was a time when Mike Wang used to come on this website and answers questions. Man, it was always a treat when he came into a random thread to answer questions for us, and then the community would low-key try to keep it a secret that he's making a guest appearance.
