Just like in FIFA, all EA cares about is FUT. Realistic gameplay is thrown out the window to please the millennials.

Kind of funny because the games now are so much better than they used to be. It’s pretty “millennial” to complain about everything though.

I understand what he is trying to say. I play 2k online with a lot of younger kids being im 30. Most of them want to speedbost and green light EVERY SHOT and do 720 dunks. I dont understand it, but its what they like. I try to point them towards NBA Jam but they keep buying 2k lol. Remember when 2k came out and everyone was mad because we couldnt have SUPERSTAR type players? Definitely off topic, but I get it what he means.

After the patch PiP has gotten realistic for me, and I can now defend the paint. Although, the offensive rebounding is still bogus.

Hof default 48 minutes vs CPU Clippers. I was able to defend the paint. Same thing vs. Rockets. Adjusting that help defense in the coaching menu helps.

I appreciate the reply. However, again after patch, it wasn't just CPU who was scoring 80+ PIP. I also scored over 80 PIP. And yes I know about Help Defense in the coaching sliders. Been adjusting that for years.

Adjusting Help Defense in the coaching sliders did not help me nor cpu at all. All it did on HOF Default was make players double team on the perimeter even more in my experience.

For me personally, in (the coaching sliders) adjusting help defense to 0 and increasing zone usage to 100 worked for me when I played again last night. Just my experience. Will test more games and see.

Here is the Mode I Am Using: Play Now - Offline - User vs CPU - 48 Minute Game - Default Hall of Fame

For those reading. This is not MyLeague or any other mode.

Otherwise, I am still enjoying the game. Lots of good about about it despite the little annoying things.

Now, the Help Defense at 100 in Coaching Sliders is working for me. I don't know what it was last night, why it wasn't working. But it's going very well for me now. Guess that's the beauty of basketball..never know what you're going to get and every game can't be the same. Anyway, thanks and appreciate the reminder. [emoji817]

What I did for my own liking (a trial only until I find the sweet spot for my settings)

Coaching Sliders]

Help Defense: 100

Zone Usage Frequency: 100 (I like to use this personally because players drop down/sag and help, while still maintaining a presence of on ball defense)

The only other change I'm trying is adjusted movement sliders.

Everything else I kept at HOF Default...will go from there...anyway having a ton of fun with 2K20!


Edit: Question... @alabamarob do you always go with "95" help defense in coach sliders for every team when you play? I see this in your picture attachment. May have to try it if so.

Edit #2: I spoke too soon. I scored 80 PIP again. This time I won Bucks 123 - Pistons 119. Maybe it's the Bucks as the reason... Don't know. But I had a monster game with Giannis 49pts, 25 rebs, 4 asts, 2 stls, 2 blocks.

Looks like the Switch just got the patch....1.04...man and I used to think PC was bad when it comes to patches. WAS...they seem to be better with dishing out the patches for PC. The switch though...

Im pretty sure this can be done with a patch, add a turn on and off button. i mean this kind of visual should be in the online world only.

I mean cmon did we really ask for this?? this should be in an arcade mode not a sim mode.

All you have to do is look at Jokic. If he's bald then you have 1.04. For 1.05 check Vince Carter if he's been updated.

I was mainly just going by the version number listed when you press + for game details. Mine says 1.03 and when I try to manually update further it says I’m using the latest version.

For me though Jokic looks much better now, but it’s just like in this thread where someone posted a screenshot for you from 1.03: https://forums.operationsports.com/f...es-here-3.html

Ah crap my mistake then...I got 1.03 as well. Jeez Nintendo is this far back with the updates? Oh well...as 23 said just as long they update it it's fine.
