I have to do my league now since my Gm is ruin but did they take out the ability to save the game while u playing

I am a very long time madden player and i have been playing the show for a while too.

I played a bit of NHL, and i got NBA 2k for very first time.

I know quite nothing about basketball it is going to be fun but i feel like this franchise mode is a true gem.

Looking at other sports games i wonder how you can criticise the franchise mode of that game. It has all the features that all madden players have been asking for a decade.

I am so excited to get into it.

I'm currently in the 2020-2021 season right now with a Thunder Franchise. Before the beginning of the first season, I traded Chris Paul, Eric Moreland, and a 2nd to the Heat for Justice Winslow and James Johnson (Dragic got picked up by the Seattle SuperSonics in the expansion draft which gave them enough cap room for the trade).

My 2019-2020 tank was very successful, I finished last in the NBA with a record of 20-62 (mostly simming and playing the occasional game against bad teams). SGA finished the year winning Most Improved Player averaging 22 points, 5 assists and 5 rebounds per game. He's now up to an 85 overall 10 games into the 2020 season.

Unfortunately due to the new lottery rules, my efforts were only awarded with the 5th overall pick. With the pick, I drafted PF Jaden McDaniels out of Washington. He should be a solid piece moving forward as I needed a young PF who can score. He'll be a starter right away.

I didn't make too many moves in Free Agency, but I did pick up Fred VanVleet to replace the departing Andre Roberson. He should add some much needed 3 point shooting. I also picked up Jahlil Okafor to replace for Nerlens Noel who also left during free agency. I'm also saving my cap room to extend SGA, possibly extend Winslow, and maybe pick up a big piece next year.

I am currently 11 games into the 2020-2021 season and my record sits at 5-6 after playing all the games. My team is definitely more competitive than it was last year. SGA could end up being an all-star this year and has really turned into the focal point of my offense. He's currently averaging 25ppg, and has improved his assist and rebounding numbers as well. Jaden McDaniels is contributing immediately averaging 14ppg. My 10 man rotation looks like this:

PG: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander
SG: Fred VanVleet
SF: Justice Winslow
PF: Jaden McDaniels
C: Steven Adams

I was the same way. I'm way more of a football fan and baseball fan than I am a basketball fan, but I tried NBA2k last year when 19 came out. It is now probably my favorite sports game to play because the franchise mode is much deeper than Madden and The Show (it especially puts Madden to shame).

B.I.G. - Orlando Magic MyLeague



I'm starting my Orlando Magic MyLeague looking to build around my core of B.I.G. (Bamba, Isaac, Gordon). They - along with Markelle Fultz - will be marked as "untouchable" in trades and my roster moves will be used to supplement that core.

My goals:

1. Playoffs, obviously. My goal is to continue this squad's status as a playoff squad.

2. Build around and develop Fultz, Bamba, Isaac, and Gordon.

3. Evaluate pieces like Evan Fournier, Nikola Vucevic, D.J. Augustin, and Terrence Ross to see who will be contributing pieces, and who can be moved for assets.

I think I finally got a handle on the game and my slider set. It’s finally playing well. Time to dig in now!

Crazy, took me about 20 hours of “Practice” to get to this point.

It actually plays really well. But with me being the bulls I am not exactly favored to win lol. First game of the season against the Hornets i lost 104-114

I felt like that too but you could always bump up all the shot success up 1 till u have your liking for ur play style. I am thinking about doing that cause I always have a low shooting percentage that doesnt feel realistic as well as I see easy shots missed.

I added another squad to the league in the San Diego Fleet.

My Roster is VERY basic

6th - Fred Van Fleet (Currently Injured)
Bench - Vince Carter

Bench - Pat Connaughton (Sp)
Bench - Carsen Edwards (Traded For)
Bench - Tacko Fall (Traded For)
Bench - Rodions Kurocs (sp)
Bench - Mo Harkless

Its a few others I can't think of off top of my head at this time but this is my first year nucleus.

At the start of December we are right where I thought we'd be at 3-17. There is a rookie Center garnering all the attention right now but Id like to get a quick wing to go along with Allonzo Trier. Van Fleet and Pat Bev will lead the PG position the next few seasons.

Steven Adams has been a monster on the boards for me grabbing just shy of 15 per game. has 7 games of 19+ rebounds.

Melo has been off and on... Trier before his injury was shooting the ball well. Fred Van Fleet will be out for another month to two months. So he has been replaced on the bench with Derrick Walton Jr. whom has delivered in his role.

Im hoping to land a big FA in next off season.
