    Re: NBA 2K20 MyLeague Thread

@Stefan1337, the Gary Harris trade is the one that I went with. I agree with Comduklakis, Millsap is too good for them, and I didn't want to buckle them defensively.

I ended up flipping Harris to Memphis with a Lakers first rounder so they can take him off my hands, so I can clear some playing time.

    Thanks for the suggestion!

Edit: Just read a report that the Nuggets made him untouchable lol. Already made the trade whoops

So how is every one playing their my league? Are you simulating certain amount of games and playing some or playing them all? So far 9 games into mine and I have played all of them. Just curious on how everyone else is handling theirs.

I usually play one game and sim around 5. I try to play teams that are close to me in the standings. I'm playing 10 minutes quarters. At the end of the season, I use the simcast function against lower-rated teams and jump in if needed.

I'm currently playing with the Knicks, and I'm more into a management aspect of the game, trying to rebuild the franchise, so I Simcast all the games, and I'm playing only 6 last minutes (or less) when it's a close games.

Best compromise for me as I still have the feeling to be involved by the results on the field, I have realistic statistics (quarters of 12 minutes/82 games), and the season is running fast enough for my taste (currently on January 2022, and I started to play 2 or 3 weeks ago).

Chicago Bulls Dynasty: A Windy City Rebuild

Setting at the all-star break we are 24-31 10th in the conference. The season has been pretty much what I thought it would be in this rebuilding process. Some good outcomes is that both Zach Lavine and Coby White are playing at a high level. Coby White has over taken the start PG roll.

We did make a few trades the first came with the Lakers trading 2021 first round pick along with 2022 2and round pick and Felicio for Kyle Kuzma. We also traded Thaddeus Young and Adam Mokoka to the Mavericks for Justin Jackson and Josh Reaves. Our final trade was trading Denzel Valentine to the 76ers for Jonah Bolden.

Not sure what moves we will make in the offseason as I feel the team is only a couple of big role players away from competing. One thing that will happen at the end of the season is a staff overhaul.

Chicago Bulls Dynasty: A Windy City Rebuild

Finished the season 27-55 which is 5 more wins than last season. The bright side is the production from the starting 5 was really good with Coby White winning Rookie of the Year with a stat line of 18.4ppg 3.6rpg 7.4apg 1.5spg shooting 40%FG and 36%3PT. During the offseason we will look to find some better bench players to help fill the gaps and compete in year 2.

The Core of White, Lavine, Markkanen, Carter, and Kuzma will be returning for season 2. If Porter chooses not to use his player option we will not resign him. We will look to the draft for a better back up PF.

Also the staff will get revamped. I went through the other teams and seen that Brad Stevens as well as Steve Kerr will be available so we are keeping our options open as to who we will resign.

I'll have a postseason as well as offseason recap coming next.

Chicago Bulls Dynasty: A Windy City Rebuild

The Rockets would go on to win the NBA finals against the Pacers. After a Lackluster season the whole staff except the CFO and Assistant coach was let go. We ended up signing Steve Kerr to a 4yr/ 30mil contract. This was the beginning of our offseason turn around. Otto Porter declined his player option which in turn Free up some money for us.

We signed Derrick Favors, Devonte Graham, Avery Bradley, and Bobby Portis to deals. This was a big for us to be able to strengthen our bench like this. We ended up with the 7the pick in the draft for the fourth straight year in a row. We took Jaden McDaniels out of Washington.

Some players that progress over the past season where Zach Lavine going up to a 86, Coby White up to a 75, Kyle Kuzma up to a 82, Lauri Markkanen up to a 84. The only player not to progress very well was Wendell Carter Jr he is still at a 79.

Overall this team went from an 83 overall all the way up to a 92 overall and I believe it has alot to do with our much improved role players we acquired. This season will def be an exciting one. Stay tune to see how it all plays out.

I usually play 1 game then sim 3 or 4, it just depends on what my schedule is like. I won't always stick to that pattern, if I have an interesting match up in a stretch I'd normally sim I'll play it then just sim the next couple.

                        Re: NBA 2K20 MyLeague Thread

So, I'm currently on the 22-23 season with the Cavs. I'm looking at the shape of the team for the next season (concerned about having enough CAP room to resign Garland, Porter Jr and keep the core).

I drafted a PF in 2021, with the 40th pick. He is my third-string PF behind John Collins and Nance Jr. I like to play with him and he improved in the offseason (to 75). His potential is A-. The problem is that according to the Contract Extension Screen he expects 16M next season.

Just looking at past second-rounders, that's too steep of an increase for a second contract.

Malcolm Brogdon from 1.55M to 20M (He was a starter with a contender)

Josh Richardson from 1.4M to 9M
Thomas Bryant from 1.37M to 8M

Ivica Zubac from 1.55M to 6.4M
Montreal Harrell from 1.47M to 6M
Jake Layman from 1.55M to 3.58M
Richaun Holmes from 1.6M to 4.7M
Norman Powell from 1.4M to 9.36M

What will a realistic contract look like for him? I want to adjust sliders accordingly.

Game one of the 2020-2021 season in the books as we dominate the wizards 124-99. What an amazing debut it was for McDaniels scoring 16 with 4 assists and 2 blocks. Over all this was a great step in the right direction for this season.

Depends on the roster you use. If you use the 2K inflated ratings roster, probably around 9-10m. If you use a custom roster with lower ratings like the ATD roster, then 14-16m...

How deep in to the future has everybody gone? I simulated ten seasons, winning championships in 25, 26, 27, and 28 (four-peat!). After a second round exit derailed that streak, I'm ready to start playing the 29-30 season.
