Asinine? Ok my man. I'm just saying, you play basketball north/south. You watch basketball east/west. That is not asinine that is a fact.

you play basketball north/south correct? and you choose to play 2K east/west. Just saying that makes no sense to me, thats all. But you can play on any view you like idgaf.

Again, 2K cam does not make me feel like I am actually on the court playing at all, for the reasons I have already mentioned. I play on broadcast with camera relative controls, and that's my preference. Nobody who plays on 2K cam is superior to broadcast players basketball playing wise or knowledge wise, and vice versa. It's a camera view preference.

Like the person who commented above me stated, saying that 2K cam is the only way to play if you "actually ever played basketball" is not a sound take, and also not accurate.
Basketball is played north/south. Basketball is watched on tv east/west. Just saying i prefer to play the direction i'd actually play if i were playing. if that makes sense. But of course, idgaf what view people use. it has nothing to do with superiority. Just my opinion man.

you play basketball from your point of view.

you watch basketball from whatever camera angle they show or from whatever angle you are seated beside any court wether its in a stadium or outdoor ect...

              those are facts.

Yes asinine. You implied that if someone plays on broadcast that they must not have played or play basketball. Asinine is the nice way of putting it. In actuality it’s just plain stupid. People looking for a sim basketball experience want to play the game the way it is shown, not from madden cam. Also, a good number us have been playing sim basketball on video games since Coach K, Bulls vs Lakers, NBA Live later, etc. These were played from broadcast cam. Those are the actual facts unlike your insecure opinion that the camera someone plays on is a reflection of their experience playing real basketball.

No one asked you. Go back to the park with your skateboards, dodgeball or whatever weirdo bs y’all do instead of actually playing basketball.

I've played ball on every level including the NBA. Even the G league. Windy city Bulls and Fort Wayne Mad ants. I play on broadcast in most cases unless i'm playing online. It's all just preference. neither of those angles are even close to being first person.

If true, I wish my C's had brought you on the roster. You would have been a great fit.

Good luck with everything, you deserve a spot in the league.

And, as I stated prior, I also have never considered 2K cam even close to the feel of actually playing, as it's a 3rd person camera that hovers above the court, and it's not "behind" the player (In a north south fashion) at all times).

Play how you want people, but making statements like "If you actually played, 2K cam is the only way to play", is almost taking a shot at anybody who plays on broadcast. As you have seen in this thread, A LOT of people of all skill levels play on broadcast, and likewise on 2K cam.

The discussion overall has been good in here though.

Edit: Didnt realize you were with the Pacers, hope you have a great season!

No problem man. I don't often have a lot of time to game anymore, but I've been playing since Dreamcast as a really little kid. Broadcast is how I've played since it's been an option and it's how i'll continue to play.

Thank you. My journey has been a long one but I still have a long way to go and a ton to learn still. Either way I am truly blessed.
