Reported to 2k and they seemed to acknowledge the issue a while back. But i dont think they actutally did or dont know how to fix
    Reporting it is/was useless.

It's not broken. It's like that on purpose.

It's hard coded. PC version has a file where you can have no indicators or circles on who you control BUT you still see floor general HOF numbers on players. Got annoyed playing certain legends.

Man-O-Man... You just hit the nail on the head with that one my friend!!! I emphatically agree!!! It’s like having mini games with in the game, which is absolutely terrible! Before 2K had all of these “timing games” related to gameplay the game was at it’s zenith. Everyone could pick up and play and have a good time just basking in all that 2K offered. Now it’s like the Devs are purposely trying to frustrate the gamers and make every little thing as difficult and challenging as possible which in turn takes the enjoyment factor right out of the experience!!! It becomes more of a headache then fun and makes you not even want to play the game.

Which is ridiculous if you think about it. I used to love to come home and fire up the system and get a couple of games in but nowadays I find it more of a stressful experience, and after a long day at work, the last thing I want to do is come home and be stressed out by a game... Just saying!

Thats not what 2k told me.
2k shouldve said the game is designed to be this way. I was misinformed by the company.

Dude! You should have known that it was by design since Day 1.

2k support's job is to field concerns and pass them on. They have no idea about the actual design. They'll look into anything. You weren't misinformed.

Yeah you really can't even take the game seriously anymore. Anyone who tries is only kidding themselves. The game has gone full on NBA Jams style with all the silly visuals and the arcade gameplay with all these dumb badges and green releases. 2k has become nothing more than an arcade game to go after little kids and bums now, it's all about the microtransaction money.

Sad to say but I think you're right. They keep adding so many of these "hand holding" indicators/badges to the game. It's been a slippery slope that looks like it's only gonna get worse.

Yes, the only one I like, is the 'who to guard' indicator.

That's really the only indicator that I would be upset if that was removed. It's especially important if you use the broadcast view. I use the indicator to line myself up with the ball handler while their bringing the ball upcourt. Granted, I can't see how far from the basket my player is, but it's definitely a useful tool.

thats not what i meant some perfect releases become "full whites" cause there's an RNG factor. but yea green releases are 100%

they need it for casual and new gamers.
Im sure in the next versions there will be an option where you can turn all these things off.

I wouldn't get my hopes up if I was you, the greens flash ain't going nowhere IMO, best we can hope for is for greens to go in @99%, like it was in 2k16.
