Enough is enough! When are we finally getting an actual look at next gen 2k??

2k clearly phoned in current gen with the amount of people complaining about it and lack of any real updates art related or otherwise. We have both PS5 and new Xbox release dates that are out in less than 8weeks.
It’s starting to feel as though 2k have something to hide?

Yeah that, or they know they can market it however they want and people will still buy it because they have no competition?

We hope to have something interesting, with the new more powerful consoles I hope that 2k gets closer to a more finished product at launch, so as not to wait any longer for some good editors for a few months, this applies to offline players

The next gen teaser was crazy underrated .

The drastic change in lighting and added ray tracing is going to make this a whole new beast .

ehh the things I am interested in on next gen probably won't be highlighted anyways. They are just going to promote Myteam, Park, and probably a few graphics.



I want to know if the CPU AI is better in game like time outs and subbing. Can they add more in the gameplan because all the coaches have the same balanced /neutral philosophy when you look in MyLeague. Maybe have the customizing of the coach traits and player tendencies shared and imputed instead of having to do it every time I want to start a new league.

You're already playing it. Just add more sweat and better lighting and you have next gen version of NBA2k21.

Eh, normally you and I are on the same page, Goffs, but I gotta respectfully disagree with this.

They built an entirely new engine from the ground up for next gen, and that Zion teaser looks better than anything we got on this current gen of systems.

I'm expecting to be blown away like I was with 2K14, if not more.

I learned to lower my expectations with 2k. Maybe I'm wrong but I doubt I will get the same wow factor from 2k14 jump. Time will tell.

And what I mean, the new generations will be more powerful and therefore the game will have more room for improvement, at the same time I understand the fear of Goffs.
We hope 2k doesn't disappoint us

If they actually built a new engine from the ground up for next gen expect a very stripped down game because they can’t do that and include a full spectrum of modes/ features......... I assume it’ll be great looking and play at a smoother frame rate but as far as a new game like u lead on about I have serious doubts for that in year 1
