Re: NBA 2K21 Next-Gen Gameplay Blog (Part 3 of 3) - MyPLAYER, Builds, Badges, Takeove
Some really exciting stuff in there as well as some stuff that makes me a little nervous.
Some of those shooting badges, plus the added customization, scares me for what the MyCareer players might look like but we'll see. I love the idea of being able to build our guys without pies while still having limits on the physical stats and stuff, but seems ripe to be abused as well.
Also, just for me, I'm not even sure I'll deviate much if at all from what I built with my pie this year. Never been happier with how my build plays this year.
Some of the AI changes sound great; particularly the end of game/shot clock and transition stuff would be huge if implemented correctly.NFL: Bills

BRO ...I just watched the video 2k posted on twitter in regards to this blog. AD sets pick for Lebron. Bron uses pick drives right! Crowder who was covering AD (who looks to be sagged off) runs PAST Lebron to go cover AD giving Bron wide open shot.,
If the AI is so improved would'nt Crowder pick up bron after seeing his teammate get picked??Last edited by jayman504; 10-21-2020, 10:35 AM."I'm so lonely....I paid a hobo to spoon with me"Comment

We have two more weeks of information to go. Since Gameplay and My Player wrapped up, i would expect next two weeks will be about game modes.Comment

I'm def more excited about this before the blogs started however I'll wait and see what the next few weeks hold. They have a uphill battle with me buying day 1 since the updated rosters wont be ready till December or so.Retro Redemption - Starting over with a oldschool PowerBone Offense

2K loves renaming their badges. Smh...
On a more serious note, thank goodness the pie charts are gone. Hopefully we can make star players instead of glorified role players. And the new takeover system reminds me of the badge system in the other game.

Looks and sounds good, I'm excited to play on the 10th.
One thing though. With knowing where the rebound is going to go makes the game feel scripted. Which 2k has an issue with already. Not too big of a fan for that badge.Comment

Yea lets hope so however I'm still nervous that we just wont get any news. They have done well with the news with these 3 blogs so that should please the gameplay and my player crowd. Now I hope the attention turns to the my league and the casual crowd leading up to the game.

Honestly, I haven’t been this excited reading blogs like this since NCAA 14 back in the day. Not to start anything off topic but pretty sad state we’ve been in as sports gamers because that used to be a yearly thing. Hopefully 2k can keep this going in all their sports they have planned. I can’t wait to see the myleague blog!Comment
