Bump up the mins to 10, should see a change then. 8 mins just isn't enough for the cpu to average 90. They can, but consistently, no.

Make sure you have all kinds of saves for your franchise that are staggered and not all on the same day. I had a instance last night where it crashed on the same day 10 times in a row. I luckily had another save file from a previous day so I just skipped past that day and it appears to have worked. I also keep one about a month in the past as a last ditch effort. If I hadn't done that I may have lost everything. I now have like 7 save files. I am on ps5

        Re: NBA 2k21 How’s Your MyLeague/MyNBA..?

Almost two thirds of the 2023/24 season are done and man, what a rollercoaster ride it has been. Vancouver has been extremely inconsistent and is 10-9 right now. Cunningham is still playing on an MVP level with averages of 30ppg and 10,4 apg, putting up a 50/40/90 season so far. But the support just isn't there, so I made some drastic moves. I traded Malcolm Brogdon, Keon Johnson and Isaiah Mobley away and brought in more defense and experience in DiVincenzo, Schroder, Covington and Hardaway Jr. Unfortunately, Jonathan Isaac will miss a big part of the season due to injury. Therefore, it will be a very tough battle to get into the playoffs. The current lineup: Cunningham - DiVincenzo - Josh Green - Garuba - Makur Maker // Schroder, Hardaway, Palionis, Covington and Moses Brown off the bench.

The league is incredibly competitive this year. Denver has the best record standing at 12-5. Other contenders are Boston, Brooklyn, Philly in the east and Portland, Phoenix and New Orleans in the west. Dallas, that has been the super team the past couple of years, lost Doncic to an injury for the season and is struggling. Nikola Jokic is the front runner for MVP, Lillard, LaMelo Ball, Tatum, Zion and Ayton are some other players who are thriving. Jalen Green and Jonathan Kuminga belong to the guys that have a huge breakout season.

          Re: NBA 2k21 How’s Your MyLeague/MyNBA..?

My lowly Pistons finished year 1 with an abysmal 20-62, record. In the lottery we were given the 5th pick, so I got to hold onto my protected pick instead of Houston receiving it. With the 5th overall pick I selected a SG named Jalen Green.

Jalen Green has already become a legend in Detroit, but we'll touch on that in a bit. In the offseason Jarret Allen became a Piston after signing a 4-year, 80 million dollar contract. Lonzo Ball also joined him coming to Detroit on a 3-year, 60 million dollar deal. Otto Porter also was signed to a smaller contract and is actually the veteran on the team despite being 27.

The Pistons also moved on from Dwayne Casey and hired away Houston assistant Jeff Hornacek to come and install the triangle in Detroit.

The starting lineup at game 1 of the year was Ball, Diallo, Porter, Grant, and Allen. That didn't last but two or three weeks. The rookie Green was always electric coming off of the bench and Hornacek went with the hot hand early in the year and hasn't looked back since.

The Pistons came into the year and were expecting to fight for around the 6th seed and early on those expectations looked accurate. The team had a winning record, but the offense wasn't quite clicking yet and Green was just getting used to the league. The team was still posting a respectable record around 14-10 after the first month plus, but they felt a change was needed. They traded away Josh Jackson for Mikal Bridges to bring in a defensive stud to split time with Porter and once the team got some chemistry, they took off.

The Pistons were 28-14 heading into a matchup against the defending champ 76ers who are the league's best team again this year. The first meetup wasn't close as Deteoit lost by around 30. This matchup was much closer the first half to 3 quarters of it, but the depth and star power of Philly really showed as they eventually won by 20.

This game has set the Detroit team on fire, though. They are now on a 10-game winning streak and have a 40-17 record. Green dropped a career high 43 points with a team record 11 threes just nights after the 76ers game. He followed that up a week later with a 47-point game to beat the struggling Knicks in OT.

The kid is electric, the clear runaway for rookie of the year, and Detroit has a star in the making that has this team flying over their expectations. He is the catalyst for an otherwise average to above average offense. The team was built to play defense, and they've done that, staying a top 3 defense all year, battling Philly and LAC all year for the top spot, but Green's offense prowess has made the team a much better all around team. He is nearly unguardable and can hit whatever shot he feels like taking. He's averaging 23 points per game on the year, but as a starter alone he's near 27 to 28 points a game.

Detroit is going to post their best record since the early 2000's and while they won't likely be able to best the 76ers in a best of 7, they do look like they're going to be a very hot team that is tough to put away once the playoffs do start. If this team can stay healthy, which they've struggled with this year, Porter has missed half the year, backup PG Lee broke a leg and missed a huge chunk of the year, and Stewart has been hurt off and on all year behind Allen, they should be able to make some noise in the postseason and gain valuable experience.

It has not been a bad year for the leagues youngest team with the average age being 22. From 20-62 to 40-17 is quite the turnaround. Green's offense, the triangle offense being a good system fit for the team, and the elite defense has this team playing with an identity. If the offense can get a bit more consistency and the team can get a bit better at rebounding the ball, they'll be a contender.

The team already has elite IQ and athleticism, if they can find a little more length, they'll be deadly.

Note, I mostly use simcast to sim every game and only jump in when it is close in the 4th. I do play some games from start to finish using Schnaidt's sliders, mostly the marquee matchups like the second 76ers games. I'll play other games start to finish when I want to get a game in, but the vast majority of games are simmed, at least the first 36 or so minutes of every game are. Sometimes I'll jump in at the half, at the end of the 3rd, whatever I'm feeling. It doesn't always have to be close, sometimes I just want to play a quarter because I can. So most of the stats from my team are from the sim engine and I'm very surprised my team has performed as well as they have, but when I've got a rookie superstar that the sim has scoring at will and an elite defense I guess it makes sense why they are playing so well. They almost play worse when I do jump in and play myself. The Knicks game that went to OT I jumped in just to jump in and choked away the lead and had to hit a buzzer beater just to force OT. My team never trailed that game in the simcast, but my dumb self joined in and choked away a 10 point lead in the 4th and was down 5 with 17 seconds left. Then Green was on fire in OT scoring 10 points to get to 47.

This is a fun young team to sim and play with. I also let the CPU Hornacek call all plays, make the rotations himself, etc. I only play the GM role and play as the players in game. All coaching decisions are automated by my coaching staff. This style of play makes my coach matter more and is more fun for me. So when Green was named starter because he was coming in and putting up 15 points every night off of the bench, that was all Hornacek's doing himself and I played no part. The only thing I may do is call an occasion manual pick and roll, but everything else is completely done automatically by my coaching staff.

That is why I moved on from Casey and took a chance with Hornacek. I didn't jive with Casey's style of offense. The triangle has been much better for what I wanted offensively and Hornacek still calls plenty of plays to get Green in isolation to abuse whoever the poor soul guarding him is.

Green has progressed to either an 80 or 81 overall 19 year old. If he pans out like expected, he will be elite. I've got 4 years to be strategize my cap moves so I can ensure I have the best chance to resign him. He may be a max contract guy if he keeps it up.

            Re: NBA 2k21 How’s Your MyLeague/MyNBA..?

After a hot 40-17 record, injuries pelted the Pistons and they limped to the finish line finishing with a still respectable 52-30 record. Quite the turnaround. The NBA in the prior offseason agreed to take the top 8 teams from each conference and seed them 1-16.

The Pistons got the 5th overall seed and faced Charlotte in round 1, a team they didnt struggle too much with in the regular season. Charlotte was an okay team, they had one of the worst 3 pt defenses in the league and one of the worse defenses overall, but their offense carried them to a playoff berth.

Outside of Saben Lee who fractured the same leg he broke at the beginning of the year, Detroit was practically 100%. Lonzo Ball had a tweaked knee, but was expected to play and face off against his brother.

The Pistons didn't struggle too much, taking the series in 5 games, blowing out Chatlotte in 3 of the 4 wins. They advanced to face off agaisnt the Clippers. This was a back and forth series going the entire 7 games. Neither team ever even won 2 games back to back. Despite Leonard dropping 40+ in game 7, Detroit hung on to take the series 4-3 and went on to play the defending champion 76ers, a team they didn't fare well against in the regular season. The 76ers were 62-20 on the year and the number 1 seed.

Detroit used some superb 3pt shooting and a career day from Otto Porter to barely take game 1 in Philly, but that was all they could do in the series. They forced OT in game 2, barely losing at the end, but games 3 and 4 were blowouts. Game 5 came down to the final minute, but Detroit couldn't hit any clutch shots at the end and Philly went on to have a chance to defend their title against the winner of the Bulls and Celtics.

Yes, the final 4 teams were the top 4 seeds from the East. The Bulls advanced on to play the 76ers and they were no match. They lost in 5 games, but they also had some turnaround. The Pistons were 20-62 and then 52-30, the Bulls were 21-61 and then 51-31 and playing in the finals. Quite the turnaround for the two worst teams in the East the year prior.

In the offseason the Pistons did not resign Mikal Bridges. He went on to ink a 3-year deal with the Nets worth between $15-20 mil per year. Detroit had zero interest in matching that offer.

Detroit didn't make a single splashy off-season signing simply because they could not afford to. They took a couple of bench players to fill out the roster, but the main rotation going into 2022-2023 is the same as the prior year.

            Lonzo Ball
Jalen Green who won ROTY with 23 ppg
            Sadiq Bey
            Jeremi Grant
            Jarrett Allen

Killian Hayes has progressed and is getting more minutes off the bench
Diallo is as well as Green didn't grow as much going into year 2 as the organization had hoped and both are closer in skill now
Porter remains a pivotal presence off the bench who occasionally starts
Stewart is logging plenty of minutes off the bench and looks to be a promising young big

Last season was probably a bit of an over achievement for the team. The loss of Bridges will likely hurt. The team had a top 4 defense last year, but this year with no Bridges they likely won't be as good. The offense should see some improvement with Hayes and Diallo taking on bigger roles along with Bey getting more minutes with Bridges gone.

A 5th overall seed isn't likely this year unless the offense really takes off, but you never know. Last year's team wanted to fight for the 6th spot in the East and ended up 5th in the entire league.

Hornacek and his staff were kept in tack. The organization did not resign their longtime scout and went in a new direction now that they'll have a 1st round pick again next draft.

This year is a weird year. Despite getting close to the finals, the expectations are not that high this year, but it isn't a rebuild right now either. Jeremi Grant is on the final year of his contract and Detroit isn't sure they want to keep him around if he is going to demand $20+ mil per year. The organization is still expecting at least one of Green or Diallo to become a potential star at SG and is going to make all moves with the idea of keeping money around to sign at least one of the 2 when their rookie deals expire.

While Ball and Allen played very well last year, the organization does have slight regret putting over $40 mil per year into the duo, but neither player is expected to be dealt this year. Ball had a 3 year deal, so he can be resigned after the next year. Allen's deal was 4 years.

Outside of Ball and Allen, onlyna few younger players on their rookie deals with team options are on the books after this year, so the Pistons may look very different next season. Like mentioned before, the organization feels they are in an awkward spot as they don't feel they can compete for a title, but the team will likely win close to 50 games once more. It will be interesting to see what approach they take when building the team next offseason.

If one of the younger guards would develop into the type of player the organization feels both can be, it would make the strategy much more clear, but right now things are a bit blurred. Fortunately Green has two team options left, so he has quite some time to show what kind of player he will grow into. Will the reigning rookie of the year have a sophomore slump and then turn into a potential all-star or is he going to be a simple high floor/low ceiling type that is reliable, but not something you build around?

Diallo, however, is further along into his contract. If he decides to test his value this offseason, will the organization trust what they have in Green and let Diallo go if the price is higher than they'd like, or will they fight to keep him and just wait to see what happens if/when Green develops more?

The organization also needs to decide how they want to build their team. It seemed initially they wanted to have a more well rounded team and not a team that has a star or two and then a bunch of mid-level and minimum players. That approach did get them to the "conference finals", but that approach is also somewhat hard to balance from a cap standpoint. With guys like Ball and Allen having a market value of around $20 mil per year or more, Detroit feels they can't rely on building a team through free agency with players like that. As they saw just this past offseason, guys like Bridges are getting contracts that Detroit couldn't afford to compete with this year.

While Detroit fans are happy that the team is back to being a playoff team, it looks like getting the team to go up a tier is going to take much more effort from the front office and some creative financial work is going to be needed. Being one of the top 16 teams was somewhat easy. Finding a way to become a true top 4 team is going to be quite the task for a front office that is in a limbo right now with their cap and roster strategy.

              Re: NBA 2k21 How’s Your MyLeague/MyNBA..?

Got through the next years pretty quickly. The recap won't be as long(hopefully). The team missed Bridges logging playing time in 2022-2023 year. The defense really fell off without him and Bey receiving most of the playing time over Porter. The offense hardly saw any change in performance, but the defense went from a top 4 unit to a unit that ranked around 20th. The team also suffered through injuries all year and never had any chemistry during the regular season.

The team basically limped to a 41-41 record which was disappointing, but it did earn them the 16th overall seed. The team when healthy was much better than a 16th seed, but they were literally never healthy. I think in 82 games, outside of opening night there may have been 5 games all year the 5 projected starters actually started together. On one hand 41-41 was rough, but on the other hand the fact that they got to 41-41 shows the depth the team had because they were decimated all year with nagging injruies.

The Pistons got to face the #1 seed Celtics who they had split the season series with and this series was one for the ages. The series went the full 7 with Detroit winning game 7 in the final minute pulling off the upset. Detroit would go on to then face the 76ers, their new rival, and would push past them in 6 games which was somewhat surprising, but Detroit did post a winning record against Philly in the regular season despite their health issues.

This then brought Detroit to face the Lakers in Lebron's farewell tour and they finally ran out of gas, losing in 6 games. James and the Lakers went on to play the Magic in the finals, falling in 6 games.

In the off-season the Pistons hardly made any changes to the core.Diallo was let go because the Pistons felt he wasn't worth the $15-20 million the market was giving him when Green was projected to get 30 minutes per night.

Killian Hayes progressed into a player that was challenging Lonzo Ball for the starting spot now. both were young talents and the Pistons had a good problem on their hands. With Lonzo also being in the final year of his contract it was nice that Detroit had a player they had control of that could easily replace him should hel eave Detroit.

The Pistons also finally snagged their top target of the prior two years, Michael Porter Jr. Grant was not resigned as he wanted too much money and the Pistons really wanteed Porter bad the prior off-season and they made sure to have the cap space this year to get him if he elected to go to free agency again. He did and they got their guy.

Expectations for the team were higher in this year and for good reason. Green progressed some more, Allen was in his prime it looked like, Hayes and Ball may have been the best PG combo in the league, and Porter was an excellent addition to an offense needing to get over the humph to go from a middle of the pack unit to a top 5 or 10 unit.

Porter had some injury issues, unsurprisingly during the year, and the team stumbled out of the gates due to no chemistry, but then after a couple of months everything was clicking and Detroit was a top 4 team in the East. Then the unthinkable happened. Green rolled his ankle, but it was okay, the Pistons had locked up a playoff spot already. Instead of resting him completely, Hornacek got aggressive and continued to give him minutes and it led to a tragic end. Green broke his leg in the final month of the year and would miss the playoffs.

The Pistons still had a very strong offense without Green, but his loss was significant. He was the best player whenever he was on the court and Porter's offensive ability when healthy was not even good enough to carry the load. The Pistons would go on to struggle in the final month, finishing at 50-32 and getting the 7th overall seed. They'd knock off the Cavaliers in 7 games after trailing 3 games to 1. They'd go on to face the 17 seed Suns who actually just knocked off the 2nd overall seed Celtics in 5 games. It must suck to be a Celtics fan the last two years. They see their team win 60+ games in back to back years and have 1st round exits each time.

The Pistons could never get the offense rolling against Phoenix and would go on to lose in 6. The Suns would get swept by Philly and the 76ers went on to win the finals in 5 games earning them their 3rd title in 4 years.

In the off-season the Pistons would see Ball move on to the Lakers. They were willing to give him over $20 million per year and with Hayes looking like he may be the better overall player now, they were not wanting to even try and match any offer. The Pistons would change their approach in the off-season going with a younger roster and only signing some role players on cheaper deals to keep cap space open in the next year or two since Green will be finishing his 4th year in the upcoming season. The Pistons wen t with some more veteran bench players that could mentor the young team and still offer some solid skills in the right roles.

The Pistons would go on to have a top 10 offense in the 2024-2025 campaign and Green even earned his 1st all star game appearance. The Pistons would go on to finish 50-32 for the 2nd straight year, getting the 7th seed yet again and are set to match the Grizzlies in the first series. The Pistons also saw their defense finally return to what it was in Hornacek's first year with a top 3 unit that had the best 3 point defense in the league and the 2nd best overall shooting % defense only trailing.... Memphis. Yep, this first round may be a lower scoring affair if Memphis can contain Green and Porter who have turned into a deadly young combo who can put up 80 points together any given night.

                Re: NBA 2k21 How’s Your MyLeague/MyNBA..?

Keep posting, I really enjoy to read your reports!

I just started the fifth seasom with my Vancouver Kraken. Despite Cunningham posting a strong season and finishing the year with a scoring title, I missed the playoffs in a strong Western Conference. Jokic was named MVP for a great season, but the Nuggets were eliminated in the first round. Instead, Golden State marched through to the finals. It was propably Currys last ride, but the MVP was James Wiseman who crushed the Orlando Magic. The title turned out to be his farewell gift - Wiseman surprisingly signed with the Raptors to build a incredibly talented, young big three in Toronto with Jonathan Kuminga and Daishen Nix at his side. Paired with role players like Obi Toppin or Saddiq Bey, this team could dominate the league for years to come.

Overall, it was a great offseason for Canadas teams, as Vancouver made a huge push. They traded 2023 DPOY and All-Star Jonathan Isaac, the leagues best 3 point shooter in 2023/24, Josh Green, and 4 first round picks to the underachieving Utah Jazz for Donovan Mitchell and Brandon Clarke. In Free Agency, role players like Kris Dunn, Tyler Bey or Rishaun Holmes were signed to provide depth. With the NBAs best Backcourt pairing in Cunningham and Mitchell, expectations are. The starting five is completed by rising star and sophomore Ernestas Palionis and big men Usman Garuba and Makur Maker. The latter has developed into the perfect role player, providing shooting (36% 3s), playmaking (5.5 apg) and defense (2.4 bpg). The second unit is lead by Donte DiVincenzo and Clarke.

After a loss in the opener against the Mavs, the team showed its potential with a strong offensive showing against Brooklyn. The defense could be a problem, as Giannis scored 48 against me in the opener and Durant even posting 51. But as chemistry is building, there are great things to come.

                  Re: NBA 2k21 How’s Your MyLeague/MyNBA..?

The Pistons made the conference finals once again under Hornacek, 3 times in 4 years. They were set to face the 3rd overall seed Wizards.

The series started off on the right foot for the Pistons as they took both games in Washington and had a nice 2-0 lead. Washington then went into Detroit and stole both games at the very end to tie the series back at 2. They then returned home and stole another game to go up 3-2.

Detroit would fight back and even up the series 3-3 and force a game 7. Meanwhile, Boston had already advanced past New Orleans and was waiting to see who they'd face in the NBA Finals. Unfortunately for Detroit they fell short once more and the Wizards went on to face Boston and win in 6 games. That makes the it 2 of the 3 times Detroit made the conference finals that they lost to the eventual champion in a longer series than the actual Finals went.

It seems if they could get over the hump that they would have had a good shot at winning a title themselves.

This was Green's 4th year, so he was an RFA, but Detroit had managed their cap to have the room to match any offer he received. They did just that. Green received a 3-year offer for around $33 million a year with a player option for a 4th year. Detroit matched the offer immediately and locked up their young star.

Allen was allowed to walk from the C spot. Detroit felt he regressed each year he was in Detroit and that he was asking for too much money. He eventually signed with Toronto for 4 years and $110 million, a contract Detroit had zero interest in competing with.

It was easier to let him walk with the emergence of Geiger at C who is entering his 3rd year in the league and has progressed into one of the better C's in the league. He is already one of the best rebounding centers in the league and with his increased minutes he will see this year, who knows what his limit will be. Not bad for a 2nd round pick.

Killian Hayes remains at PG since his contract is still fresh. He continues to progress and is a top young PG with incredible passing ability. He and Green is a deadly 1, 2 punch.

Whitney at SF is continuing to improve and is another draft pick like Geiger that Detroit is glad is performing and progressing past expectations. He has polished his jump shot and has become a reliable 3 pt shooter and he has some of the quicker hands in the league being a threat to swipe the ball away from anyone at anytime. The fact that he is built like a traditional PF but moves like a SF is just another plus.

Porter enters the last year of his contract and Detroit hopes to keep him past this year to supplement Green and Hayes, but they know that will be a tough task. That's for after the season, though.

Over the offseason Green looks to have progressed the most he has since being in Detroit. Remember, he is only just now 23 entering his 5th year in the league. He already made an ASG last year and he looks like he still has plenty of room to grow.

The starting 5 going into the new year is Hayes, Green, Whitney, Porter Jr., and Geiger. It looks like it is the most talented starting 5 Hornacek has had despite the departure of Allen, but the role players off the bench aren't quite the quality they have been in years past. They are about league average with the team focusing more on players being much better in specific roles rather than trying to get a bench that was full of well rounded players.

Early in Hornacek's tenure the entire team was so young they had more cash to spend on the bench which is why they had the top bench the first two years. Now that the young talent has turned into potential stars, the money is being spent on them and the bench is coming back down to Earth.

The organization doesn't feel the decline in bench quality will be too impactful, however, as the starters are going to hog plenty of minutes, and the bench has only moved back to league average, so it isn't like they are a big liability. If the team remains healthy and doesn't get worn down, the starting 5 is going to be a top one in thr league and with Green looking to be entering into the elite tier, who knows what the limit is for this team.

They've won 50 or more games in 3 of the 4 years under Hornacek, winning 50 on the dot the last two years. If the team remains relatively healthy the organization expects this to be the best year yet under Hornacek with a real shot at being closer to 60 wins instead of 50. As long as Green stays healthy this team can beat anyone in the league. He was already nearly unstoppable last year being a top 15 scorer in the league and averaging 30 pts per game in the postseason.

If there was a year for Detroit to finally get past the conference finals, this would be it. Hornacek is entering year 5, he has a roster that has a core of players who have been playing together for a few years now, he has the top young talent in the league in Green, and altogether it is easily the best team he will have had entering any season. The team has only gotten more athletic, they looked to have fixed some interior defense problems, and their perimeter defense looks to be the best it has been under Hornacek.

Last year's team returned to being a top 5 defense. There is no reason this year's unit shouldn't be just as good. The offense was the best it had been under Hornacek being a top 8 unit. Projections have them being a top 5 unit with a chance at being a top 3 unit if they can stay healthy. If they are top 5 on both sides of the ball, they definitely will be a contender.

With the league sticking with seeding the teams 1-16 and not using traditional conference playoff structures, early projections look like Detroit and Boston are favorites to meet in the Finals should both teams perform to expectations. Detroit has had Boston's number 3 years running, having nearly a .667 winning percentage against them over that span. If they do meet in the Finals, Detroit fans will have to feel confident. That's a long ways away, though. We are just now starting the new season off tonight.

Quicker update than usual. I'll be playing a it more during the season, so there may be a few more smaller updates.

Detroit got off to a hot 2-0 start blowing out the Jazz and then coming back down 10 in the 4th to beat the Cavs, both games on the road. The offense was clicking, Green had clearly taken his offense to a new level somehow. Then Green sprained his ankle and would be sidelined for a few weeks. Then Porter Jr. began having back problems and the one thing the Pistons didn't want to have happen was happening. Injuries to their two workhorses already. After being 2-0 the team quickly dropped game after game and found themselves under .500 for the first time in a year or two at least.

It was still early in the year, so no need to panic, but this isn't what Detroit wanted to have happen. Both were back in the lineup within 20 days and after a game or two they were clicking once again and Detroit now finds themselves sitting at 11-9, back over .500. When Green and Porter are healthy the team has a nice winning %. When they aren't, things are not the prettiest.

The healthy Pistons squad is taking on the 15-6 Bucks next. It should be a slugfest. The Bucks obviously have the advantage at whatever spot Giannis is playing, but the Pistons will hold an advantage at every remaining position. With Green progressing as much as he has, he is closer to being on Giannis' level than he is the rest of the Bucks team, so you might think the Pistons have the advantage here, but Giannis is definitely the type of talent that can carry the Bucks against any lineup they face. Even if the Pistons have the better starters in 4 of the 5 spots and the slightly better bench, Giannis is an elite talent that can be an equalizer despite all of that.

Will Green and Porter take down the Bucks, or can Giannis continue to be one of the best of all-time and carry his Bucks team to yet another victory? You have to think if Green and Porter are playing well the Pistons will take the game, but again, Giannis can disrupt whatever plans you have, so no matter the advantages Detroit seems to have, it's always hard to pick against Giannis. He's already carried his team to the best record in the NBA, though if you look at the winning % of when Detroit has both Green and Porter, they would have the best record in the NBA right now if they didn't go 2-3 weeks without those two.

Green is also playing on another level right now. He's only played in 7 or 8 games, but he has dropped 30+ in each game except for 2. He dropped 29 in one of those, the other he dropped 9 points in 6 minutes before hurting the ankle. He has 2 or 3 40-point games already as well. Porter Jr. also remains the consistent player he has been for Detroit. He continues to casually drop 20 per game with the occasional game where he really takes off and scores 30-40+.

If those two play like they have been, it'll be a tall task even for Giannis to carry his team past the Detroit lineup.

I'd l like to note that Green has around 15 career 40 point games already just a bit into his 5th season, and remember, he didn't start until a few months into his rookie campaign. Of those games, only 1 has been me getting him there in a game I played start to finish. Another I jumped into a game where he had 38 already and I got him past 40. Every other game he has scored that much in a purely simulated environment without my help at all. He's been insane and he's only 23/24 this year, so he has plenty of time to continue to grow.

You and Marmemole should bring this action over to the Basketball Dynasties forums, always enjoy reading how other people are doing in their dynasties and you guys are delivering from good reads. I’d be interested to follow along for more than just a season recap!

Is restricted free agency in the game?

I'm about 20 games into my Hawks MyLeague (PS4) and noticed that Collins has decided he isn't going to re-sign with me. IRL he's a restricted FA, so I was planning to match any offer he gets. But I don't see any indication he's a RFA in the game.

                            Thanks.

Is it indicated anywhere where a player is a RFA? I'm nervous I'm going to get to FA and not have the ability to match.

I'm not sure if it is marked anywhere in the mode before you get to the offseason. You can always make a backup save and sim to the offseason just to make sure.

You might be able to see it other places, too, but I know you can at least see it from the trade finder screen. It's under the FA column listed to the left of the overalls and NTCs. It will say UFA for people that will be unrestricted at the end of that current contract listed and RFA for restricted.
