Is there a 2K year that gets these shooting mechanics as close to realistically accurate as possible?

It's all about the sliders. Not sure how much 2K could change that in general from year to year.

So would you say all the 2Ks from 11 to 14 are all the same in on-court mechanics and physics?

No but I think mechanics are a bit different than discussing wide open 3s. I don't recall a time in video games where wide open 3s didn't go in. At least for the CPU. I don't play online at all so I can't speak on that.

Me neither. Offline only. I was just curious which game you preferred for good on court fundamentals.

any 2k from before Green Release = 100 % (so up to 2k16?)
